1. I have studied, can you tell me the point I miss here? Electric motor fill up the gaps in the ICE. Right? And it can deliver full torque available instantly. When the two power units combine, that means you get the additional instantaneous torque from the electric motor and raw power of ICE.
http://www.transportation.anl.gov/pdfs/HV/454.pdf
Please do read.
Page 9 and 10 specially. Thanks EDIT: I might not be an idiot. You never know
2. Have you? They use hybrid technology to increase the things u mentioned like in the P1 and LaFerrai, and of course in formula one. Basically hybrids have more torque than the same capacity gasoline only engine. Right? That's how they get 850+ horses from a 1.6 liter turbo. 160 of it comes from the electric system.
3. Indian vehicles are never safe bro
4. Did you check the engine mounts?
5. Errr Some panditha people have missed the point here.. I wasn't referring to drivers, but the car itself. And don't judge people the way u do. at least in my case I didnt by it cz it's "jeep" or it's 5 million or any rubbish but I just love the way it looks. So dont think everyone around is dumb. Well I can tell you one thing, none of these Japanese cars can match the fun you get from a german car, but well as I felt, Vezel feels good.. specially in overtaking conditions. again nothing compared to my X1, but still better than the premio I owned and better than anything jdm I owned. And I hate bajajs . So I was kind of trying to see why people bash it. So talk to the point like civilised people do Thanks
6. Awwwww yeah!!!
7. Mm I keep hands with fingers on shifters. It will downshift buy won't up shift unless u hit the limiter... At least in my case..
8. be my guest
9. Couldn't agree more. I was fallen for the design of the Vezel. I drive normally to retain 15-18km/l in that
10. Hey Vvti hold it please I did not buy a Tiida at any point of my life. I just drove it. Others I actually owned. So please do respond
11. Yeah and I drive it and enjoy doing so. I agree with u on that drivers made people hate these cars. Vezel is really fun in sport mode with peddle shifters. Dual clutch is quick on shifts.
12. Civic 1.8 non hybrid (better acceleration than the vezel but initial pickup and go was better in the vezel -overtaking ability) Premio 260 2013 Nissan Tiida (not a JDM) Well those were the closest.
13. Hi, I saw so much hate speech towards hybrids. But in the case of vezel, I could not find anything wrong with it. Can anyone tell what's wrong with is? It has civil like acceleration (Eco off) and more power than any mid range JDM vehicles, loads of options that actually work ( auto breaks and cruise control) and does very well con fuel.. Oh forgot to mention good suspension and handling. Thanks
14. Thank you Very much
15. Next race? He's in a Coma and nobody will know when he'll get up.. unlucky crash it was..
16. Well Just asking Cz I haven't driven a E class. Is it as Exciting as the 5 series in terms of acceleration and cornering feel.. the 5 series just jumps out when the throttle is kicked
17. Just to have idea about maintaining a German Car, I had to pay 120,000/= for a set of break pads for a BMW X1.. and worse, 225,000 for a set of Tyres.. Yes I know I could've gone cheaper with the break pads but the thing is under warranty and I don't want to be in trouble by cutting corners.. So I wouldn't buy anything that is used from Germany
18. I think your problem might be because of the software Glitch faced by Vezels and Fits made before February 2014.. Honda indeed recalled them to upgrade the software. Call Stafford..maybe they can do it for u.. otherwise, well, you'll have to wait.. till someone brings the software.. Quote-"TOKYO -- February 10, 2014 – Honda Motor Co., Ltd. today announced a voluntary recall of the all-new Fit Hybrid and Vezel Hybrid produced in Japan from July 2013 through February 2014 due to a problem with the software program controlling the 7-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) which could cause a delay in the ability to begin driving or the inability to move at all" http://www.hondanews.info/news/en/corporate/c140210eng
19. Well in the normal driving mode peddle shifters are next to useless unless u use them to downshift to have more breaking effect.. but put it in sports mode (the sport button on the center console) and shift up or down once. The gear you are engaged in will be displayed in the left hand display of the dash. In that mode it's more of a peddle shifter.. and yes the downshifts are automatic if u don't downshift in time.. and to disengage, simply don't downshift.. then it will automatically go to automatic mode..
20. I used the vehicle for 4 years.. bought brand new and was reading about 65000km when it was sold.. No issues except there was a vibration upon sudden acceleration.. Tried to fix it but never lucky.. And as I remember there's no sound when locking or unlocking but signals do flash. Take her to the Micro service station in Kiribathgoda. That's the best thing to do I think.. My one did good in tyre wear, and maintenance cost, but fuel consumption was not good. Handy vehicle though
21. I also watched every race but this season lacks competitiveness, even among the mercs.. have you watched 2012 season? nothing compared to 2014, but better than seeing vettel win
