  1. Hi all, Hw nice to have forums like these, Thank you very much for everyone who spent their valuable time in adding these comments. Cheers!
  2. Hi Guys, It's always better to share your experiences with these sort of incidents. Lately i purchased a prius and went to 'Chamara Stickers' down baseline road somewhere near to polhengoda. I went to do the carpeting and they were so nice to me of showing the welcome lights for a prius which actually look great once it was fixed. (moment that i put the Donkey face in) carpeting was done at the cost of Rs.9000/- and for the set of 04 welcome lights they charged Rs.7500/- I was happy with the fittings for the first one and a half weeks, until i saw the lights on the driving side panel was not functioning. i went to the them on the following week n showed them its not functioning, finding the both lights on rear also not functioning by that time. ( 'prius' letters had also turned yellowish color by that time). The guy who been so nice at the time of fixing was there and i talked to him about the matter. He said to wait till he talk with his manager, so i was waiting. After sometime the so called manager turned up, had a look and was telling me 'mekata wathura gihillane' (water had gone in). No body was telling me its not water proof or to protect it from water at the time of fixing, which i wouldn't have fixed it if i knew it at the first place. (Anyways how on earth one could expect to protect such thing from water when you have fixed it at such place?) There's nothing to argue on this with these creepy dealers. As customers we should be more vigilant when we deal with such places. The 03 lights been taken by them saying for repairs it might take 04/05 days. and i ll be getting it back without a warranty. (They said it comes with one year warranty). I might feel a trip in every two weeks for the repairs! Anyways just needed to update you guys before getting your selves in to any trouble. If anyone wants to check my statement please write to me on <script cf-hash='f9e31' type="text/javascript"> /* */</script> I have the receipt they issued me for the job which I'm willing to share.
  3. This forum is about vehicles, and you expect the so called 'chaps' have humour to every crap u state here. Oh!.. when did u last sex a car btw?? your mindset is too little for me to have a proper conversation. thanking you for wasting your valuable time to comment on this thread.
  4. If that's what they call it, what does my drinking got to do wit it Mr.Genius?
  5. forgetta abt the cruise control machan!.. im getting it dwn anyways.. thanks for all your opinion
  6. Hi Guys, Im getting down a used prius (2013, 39000km's) It says its 'my coordination' edition of it. Got brown leather seats matched with the interior trim.( looks nice! ) See.... im doing a direct import and for clearing and everything going to cost me some Rs.4,6Mil. My question is, in any case if i feel like it's not the car for me, will i be able to recover my cost for that amount.? And the experts out there please do state your advice on this car. Also I want to know whether it has 'cruise control' in it. Supplier hasn't mentioned anything on his description but few I looked from here they all had it. Just want to know whether cruise control comes as a standard option for the 'S' my coordination edition. Any advice on 'buying a prius' is also welcome! Thanks guys! Waiting for your opinion. Cheers!

You did? Are you a Si Lankan? because Sri Lankans dont have the facilities to accept payments via paypal yet...

  8. I think out of all your options allion 240 would be the best choice. don't think buying the 2007 axio as it has a huge issue with the dash board. I saw an axio where the dash board had got melted due to high temperature. (when i say melted, not as a whole, but the part which is very close to the windscreen. they say they have rectified this issue in the 2008 version of it, but i doubt u be able to find a one without any dashboard damages!?) civic es5 is a good option but the cost of maintenance is a bit on the high range-good car though!
  9. on research i found it does to 120-130Km's per charge though the sellers say its 160km's per charge.
  10. surely its not from here. and that steering wheel not from the 80's era either! must be a property of a indian mechanic!
  11. Hey!! Thank you everyone for the positive replies!! @ crosswind > I managed to change the color with RMV at the time of changing it as wot it is today. It's been like 3yrs since it's been done, so i hope it won't bother me so much. It does well on fuel so Im thinking of using it may be for another 6-7 months. And your suggestions helped me a lot to understand what kinda price Im up with if im to sell. Thanks again guys! Appreciate it a lot!! Cheers!!
  12. Hi Guys, Can anyone guide me about the current market price of a Honda City (Thailand -YOM2001)?. Mine is a manual gear transmission with black leather interior. It had driven about 212,000km's. Reason I'm asking this quiz is I'm planning to sell this after fully repainting it. also i have changed the original color of the car, from red to metalic grey in my last full paint. what kind of price can i expect for this vehicle??.. I'm going to spend generously on small mechanical issues since this car had been a great friend to me for the past 05 years. Cheers!
