Hmmm this process sounds like a rollercoaster... When i called asnu yesterday and asked about the process, the guy said they will plug the car to the machines and check if everythig is in order and if not they will suggest what needs to be done... I told i need only to clean the ful injectors and he said they have to check first etc and explained the process to me which i lacked to grasp as im new to all of this... So now does this dammika guy do the same process? (plug into machines and do the checking as asnu and then clean the injectors etc.?) in that case why do we have to go back to asnu to get the rest of it done? (i assume dammika touches only a few areas of this process?)... Wouldnt asnu say that they need to do all the checkups even though i only want to clean the injectors? (just like what they told when i called?) I'm sure I'll be taken for a ride because i know nothing regarding these technical aspects... Anyway how long will this whole proces take and how much cash should i be prepared to throw, in the worse case? Can someone send me dammika's number please?

Car doesnt misfire... Starts well, axcelerates well, no noises just runs smooth...its just the fuel consumption that is a lil bit high... However i called Asnu lanka and they said they first plug the car to their machines and wi do a checkup as to what needs to be done...i beloive all this afformentioned aspects will be checked by that time, yes?

Right now the fuel consumption is 9km in colombo - traffic hours... And this is a manual and I keep the RPM below 2..... The owner who used this car in 2010 told me back then it did 11km in city.... However my co-worker has the same manual presea and his one did 9km in city and after his tuneup it now does 11.5-12km in city...

I want to increase my fuel efficiency... In that case, should I only undertake the injector cleaning or should i undergo all 3 of these steps?

Guys, have any of you tried this air freshner? So I went to 'Autolovers' in Kandana and removed the security system.. It was a one minute task... it was just a unit plugged (Like a tv game cartridge) and the pic of the unit is attached herewith... Took 400 bucks

Hi guys... mine has a security system too... Before starting the car, I have to switch on the car with the switch in the remote itself for the dashboard indicators to work and then I will I be able to get the car started. It has no issue... my question is, if the remote battery goes off, I won't be able to switch on the car right... In that case, is there any other alternative, to switch on the car? (Like how am I supposed to know the status of the battery life, before this issue arise?) On the other hand, when I lock the car with the remote, it gets unlocked after like 30 seconds.. So I always lock it with the key... Has anyone else encountered this auto unlocking issue? And also is it possible to completely eradicate the security system and just get the car started without the switch in the remote? Thanks in advance...

Yes, I already checked that last week... But the information there is wrong compared to the specs in the Sri Lankan refina grades I have come across.... There were few sites like this where they have explained about the many grades, and all of them contradicts each other... And none of them are accurate to what we actually have here in SL...

Yep The thing I still couldnt find was the differences between Refina, Refina F, Refina S, and Refina L..... Mine is a Refina F.... I checked in the internet where it differentiates these categories, but the info is all wrong and not accurate... Not sure if it's just the label or actually there are few changes depending on these F, L. S segregation...

Ahhh I see... i know a guy who owned an 'S' he said it was 1800CC...apparently he had some financial issues and had to sell the car... he is searching for another presea CT S, now... he had owned 2 presea's before... he tell me that it did very well in fuel and hence the search for another CT S even though its not the latest..... yeah true i guess most 2lts engines were not brought to SL.... he said his one did 14km in city limit...unbelievable though... whereas mine does 11 in city, it being 1500cc... didnt try outstation yet...

Damn, its nice... it's a presea 'CT S' 1800cc.... There are only few CT S' in the country that comes with 1800cc... its a 1995 model but looks gorgeous...

Damn, this is a bit of information I never found via the internet... thank you for the info... In a way it is good that nissan stopped the presea production, so that it wont be compared with newer models and will not be degraded due to that..... And 10 years down the line, there will be a very few presea's running in good condition and we got to value and treasure to make it more highlighted..... Btw, that black car, i thought it was a version of Nissan Silvia.... I heard from a friend that there is only 1 Nissan Silvia in Sri Lanka and not sure how accurate that fact is...

Why thank you Supra yeah even i had the feeling that I'll be arrested very soon... but then again I wanted to leave no stone unturned.... it's still like a dream now, and when i think about the things i did to make this dream come true, i feel a lil embarassed coz of the multiple 'wanted' posts and all I have made but I guess every single bit of it was an experience and turned out well at the end...
