above calculation is totally wrong,you need to know the excise duty % which is only a one component of the total duty that add to end value of the vehicle

vehicle market will not go down as many people think it will,government has cut down 50% from excise duties only,all other taxes are still there..however prices will go down lest by 10% ~ 20% in general..

I too have a N16 1.6 and it's the normal rate in city limits.know it's hard on your pocket when you run with 95 octane but don't think you can expect more than that from a 1.6 and believe it's same with other brands (like Toyota) as well...
checked the alternator and battery terminals and they are good..I'm not an expert but I feel that the problem may have something to do with the the fuel system..whats your guys comments ??
I have a Nissan N16 (auto) and it been running without a fuzz for two years now.but recently I'm having this engine problem and it's giving me headaches sine then..issue is like this..engine stops suddenly without a warning and then starts up normally runs smoothly for couple of days and stops again ..(sometimes this happens several times a day)..really appreciate your suggestions on this
