    What s the problem of v98 gear box ???? Just For my information... Sorry... but i m using v98s for more than 6 years... had a 78 before that ( infact a converted one from 75 to 78)..... never had a problem in the gear box...

    Simple.... do not buy then... And mind you the permits are issued for the relevant officer to buy a vehicle.. not to sell I smell some guerrilla marketing here to manipulate the so called permit market...

    According to my knowledge.. 3.6 million benifit is still there... and they ll allow to open LC from 1 st of June onwards... according to the order the permits were issued...

    You need to enter your insurance company name and the company by which you did the emission test... there's nothing for you to link... only thing you must get your insurance and the emission report beforehand You can't cheate the system as all insurance and emission companies are linked.. And sometimes the insurance details take little time get uptade at the RMV site.. so check with your insurance company

    They have changed the maximum age for car for importation Now it's 3 years Well, I got down 2 cars from UK A freelander 2 and a shogun None of them were with rust But I heard that commercial vehicles like cabs are with rust some time. From UK the cost for freight and agent fee is about three times compared to Japan So I also believe getting them from Japan is the most cost effective thing

    I heard that you get a specific series when an engine swap is done, is there anyway to identify such a vehicle? Yes Check the model/chassis number, and also the engine number If you are in doubt you can request for a vehicle history through a lawyer from the RMV

    Not really 99 was started after the completion of 65- series, only very few as GA- series started in August 2000, according to my memory Earlier the converted vehicles got the ongoing numbers Eg ; if someone converted a 10 sri car in to diesel in 1998 or 1999, he got 65- series number So there may be converted cars with 99 plates. 325 was given for converted vehicles therafter, ( that was began in year 2000 as if I can remember)

    Try with agents. As if I can remember the screws for the rails are there, for the V 98. (not for the V96) You need to remove the roof upholstery and the roof beading to get them exposed
