  1. Yeah.. In every sense of the word
  2. Going through this, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_HSPA_mobile_phones , I highly doubt if there are any HSDPA phones for less than Rs. 25,000. But you never know, there might be some off the radar Chinese phones that are unbelievably cheap. I once saw a dual sim, touch screen "NOKIA" phone with a TV tuner for Rs. 16,000. Only later did I see that the letter "I" in Nokia is actually an "L".
  3. Try the Nokia 6120 classic.. Was around 30k about 4 months back.. Should say a really good buy.
  4. Congrats Ripper... All the very best for all three of you..
  5. Wish you a fantastic birthday MADZ.. Have a blast!
  6. Still no update machan.. currently looking at some "Sri'Lankan" ways of getting things done from gov offices..
  7. Can confirm that.. There is no FUP on WiMax.. Have been downloading at least 30GB per month since I got my connection.. But FUP is there on HSPA.
  8. Been a Dialog Wimax user since September and have absolutely no complaints.. I am a heavy downloader and use my connection to the maximum.. No trouble when using Skype or streaming videos either.. But, my next door people are always complaining that they can not even do a voice chat on their SLT connection..
  9. Wishes for a fantastic new year 2009 for everybody in Sri Lanka and abroad..
  10. Wish you a fantastic birthday and a fabulous new year..
  11. Here is a good link to keep a tab on the global oil prices.. http://www.bloomberg.com/energy/
  12. Yup, should be the deputy commissioner..... Lest see what sort of an explanation he would come up with..
  13. Thanks Dev.. Will try out the places suggested by you this weekend.. Any idea about a reasonable price..?
  14. Hi guys, I am looking for two side door strips (the one which runs from front to back along the middle of the door - parallel to the ground) for my P11.. I currently have only one since the other has not been replaced after an accident by the previous owner.. I fear that water might go into the door through the holes left to clip the strip in, and rusting might occur inside the door I have tried at E**o N*pp*n and but they do not have it.. Since the car is not that common this would be difficult to find, I presume. If any one knows where I can find an after market pair, please share your info.. Thanks.
  15. Thanks Jerryda.. It then boils down to 31 at the front and 28 at the back. To be on the safer side as Devinda mentioned, 30 at the front and 28 at the back would be ideal me believe. Also the specified spare tyre pressure applies for the stock (smaller) spare tyre, isn't it..? Currently I use the standard 15" tyre which was originally fitted to the car and later replaced by the low profiles.. So fill it up with 30 would be OK, I presume.
  16. But, wouldn't our darned roads damage the rims if the tires are under inflated.. I thought, lower the profile higher the tyre pressure should be to avoid rim damages..
  17. Managed to get a pic with my phone.. The Japanese is not all that clear but shows the four values which I mentioned.. Hope somebody can decode it..
  18. Will do
  19. Ok.. but what bemuses me is that there are two 4.2 entries...
  20. Have done this and as I said, they have the records for the 2nd and 3rd payments but not the 1st.. Last week I had a chat with the S**C branch manager who did the insurance and he says that they have been insuring based on the temporary slip issued by the RMV and not by the vehicle ownership book cos the previous owner has not got it transferred until 2006 (he has been using the car since 2001) .. He says that he can give this in writing and asks me to appeal to the RMV inquiring as to how the transfer was done in 2006 without checking into the tax receipts and why can not they do it now.. Typical ball passing I should say..
  21. The sticker on my P11 says, 2.2, 2.0 and 4.2, 4.2 kg/cm2.. An online conversion turns these values into, 2.2 = 31psi 2.0 = 28psi 4.2 = 59psi Looks like the 4.2 value is a bit absurd.. Can't understand the sticker cos it's in Japanese and the only things I could read were these digits and the unit, kg/cm2.. Was wondering which are for front and which are for back and why would there be a difference in the left and right tires.. I currently have 17" low profiles and have been filling them upto 29psi based on advice from the A*W tech people, but now feel a little bit in doubt as to what the correct pressure is..
  22. Guess I was right then.. This was the very shed I mentioned yesterday where I saw a bowser parked inside.. Not much of an queue there today either..
  23. Hey, have a fantastic birthday.. Hope you would have a blast
  24. There are still long queues in most places.. In fact I saw a CPC bowser inside the fuel station at Union Place.. But not sure whether it was diesel or petrol.. For all you desperate people it might be worth a try.
  25. I am glad I filled up last night.. Guess most of the fuel stations would be out of fuel today cos they would not be sourcing new stocks today at a higher price.. I was able to get the last precious bit available, as the pump ran out
