  1. Your right machang... Audi's sell much lower (almost 1.5 - 2 mil lesser) and the Volvos even lower!
  2. Yeah guys no doubt the EVO's are quicker....and I've voted for the EVO myself....but theres something abt a REX.......man that car's got road presence oozing out of it! Hey its surprising to see that there are more Evo Fans than REXs........ ............
  3. On running...(this is in MY opinion)..........anything over 4500RPM is a high rev for me.....so when the speed period hits me I tend to do exactly that......so with all this i do anything between 8 - 12 KMs per Litre.
  4. My RS (1700cc) does anything between 8-12kms per Litre on the run to Negombo to Colombo.....with decent mods and heavy Revings!
  5. Sharkster..............from model to model the generations for the Audi's change...now the new ones that are going to be marketed will be the SEVENTH GENERATION A4s (B7) and SIXTH GENERATION A6s (C6)............the only differences are the FSI engines and the single frame front grill........and a couple of body contour changes here and there....and the increased comfort levels.
  6. No machang....its too expensive....though there was an inquiry for an RS Cabriolet
  7. Saw in one of the posts , that the 2004 Audi A4 regarded as the second generation....its actually the sixth....its known as B6......... the Seventh generation A4s (B7) are yet to hit our market (except for one!)
  8. Anytime son ..... Yeah though the Type:RS engines are SOHC engines....they put out a decent amount of power to thrill and save on your fule bill !!!
  9. Bro...correction: a 2004 model, 'BASIC' A4 is @ 6.4mil! (Brand New)
  10. Machang a 1998 A6 is going @ 3.9mil...............a 97' A4 depending on the condition will fetch around 3.2 as you said.......but it all depends on the registeration & condition
  11. Machang...... the EK3 shell is the Vi-RS.....1500cc engine.................it came out as Pilawoos said in late 1998. The RS however is the ES3 shell and has a DB17 engine with a 1700cc displacement.....and came out in the yrs of 2000-02".. As for the price of a 1999 Vi-RS untouched would be around 1.6 - 2.1mil (registered)........ (or more). Just to note, I'll be surprised if you geta owner of a manual Vi-RS to sell!
  12. Mods could play a part in the price....but its highly unlikely...and yes you can find Vi-RS for less than 1.8mil........................................................................as for a Vi-RS: 1996 model.................I'm cluless...was there actually a Type RS made for the 1996 model? perhaps others could clarify Cheers Machang there's no way you can invest on an Audi for 3.2mil if its UNREGISTERED with these crazyass tax structures .......the cheapest one for sale is 6.4mil & its an old model and very very very basic as well!
  13. Looks 98" model -A
  14. To be totally honest with you machang.....its not.
  15. From the prices I've been hearing 1.5 - 2.1mil are the prices quoted for a registered Vi-RS..however an unregistered was quoted abt a month back at 2.3mil by a friend of mine....a RS (2001 model) is quoted anything from 2.7 - 3.2mil.and another friend of mine bought one at 3.1mil (automatic)............ I think the main reason for the fluctuatations in prices for a Vi-RS is the "urgency" of the seller... ...because a Vi-RS mite get you more cash on a sale than a Nissan V-ZR..........My best friend's V-ZR (sedan: which was in much better condition) was sold cheaper than ma other friends Vi-RS.........its crazy!!! Yo Fuzzo... Bro I'm not really sure whther it was Mr. Ajmal who imported it to the country, ... but the car is a 1.8L OLD Audi A4..........looks very nice. Cheers, -A
  16. Yo Pericles, I think I know the car your reffering to........but.......er.............lets say........well its not a recomendation Cheers
  17. Yeah Sharkster, My bad abt the Camino...as for the Impreza u mentioned it drinks petrol....from what i know ....i dnt knw whether its this particular car i know or whether its a common thing......
  18. Yo Madu... Couple of suggestions for you buddy: - Honda Civic RS (1700cc) - Honda Civic Vi-RS (1500cc) - Toyota Carina GT (1600cc) - Toyota Corolla LX (1800cc) - Nissan Primera: Camino (2000cc) - Subaru Impreza (1500cc) These are just some of the UNREGISTERED + RE-CON cars that you could look at as a sedan witha sporty feel for the price allocated by you.....(though the GT might drink a bit more juice)........I'm sure the other members will be able to add in a bit more.... All the best with the hunt & Let us know what you settled for! Cheers, -A
  19. Yo xXx, Hey man I didnt get offended or anything of that sort....well as for the poll i see that people are going with Turbo all the way huh? Anyways keep it real guys. Cheers, -A
  20. Yo Pilawoos, It's cool man...we're all buddies here...got a bit curious as if to why the DONKEY label came cos you had given a number of TWO, where incidently the number of voters for the Honda NSX were also TWO....anyways it's a public forum. All the best Man. Cheers -A
  21. Hi Pilawoos, ...er, with regard to the above quote, was ANY referance made to the TWO votes that were casted for the Honda NSX? (pretty evident/blatant)........just asking, simply because I was one of the two voters for the Honda NSX...........just want to know why the voters or any one who thinks the NSX is a preference is labled as a DONKEY. Thanx in Advance, Cheers -A
  22. Yo... Best bet would be to go with an EG8...look around & I'm sure you'll get a decent car! -A
