Agreed with you & watchman -re privacy,---but there were other cars - which in my estimation wd hv easily slotted into the top 5 -- but they -the owners didn't seem too keen to put on the dyno. So was wondering to my self whether some owners were not keen to portray their car BHP [they wdn't hv done so for different reasons]But dont want to tread on anyone's toes by publishing 'personal' data. -Once they do so, hopefully Darin will give us all the details.

Hi - 02 cars were put on the Dyno -- 01st did 560+ BHP & 720+ torque [obviously this is the fastest car in S. L.] 02nd aprox 150 BHP [Honda] [Wont mention the names of owner's -to protect their privacy - let them or Darin name the cars/owners]

So for that amount - buying a mini seems a good choice. My concern is from where can i get a good mini - is there anyone who is reliable/trustworthy- from whom i can buy one? [if its against forum rules to post it here --pls PM me] If i were to buy one- what are the issues -re parts etc. Perused the ads & there were some great ones-- one even with an english no. Nope - didn't know. My question was not to challenge you CMR555 - just out of curiosity. Actually what prompted me to ask you were the 2 'bold' facts mentioned --i.e. beating everybody else in Sri Lanka AND----- and he seems to be doing it with ease. OT -- Actually i dont want to argue you over this- but i dont agree with your argument.[for one thing - its 'not easy' to win] I would say it would be down to 'driving skills' of the driver rather than whether its a conversion or not. I agree the car should be in very good competing condition. But according to SLAADAR all cars cannot have an unfair edge over others. Therefore the cars are on par. Therefore its down to driving skills IMO.

+1 Congratulations & keep it up!! An individual accomplishment deserves equal or better recognition than a team effort. [Just for the record -- there was a 'World Champ' in Sri Lanka by the name of M. J. M. Laffir. [The First & ONLY world Champ to-date] I'm sure for most of you it wouldn't even ring a bell. He was the World Champ in 'Billiards' & got the fastest 850 + break whilst achieving same. But IMO he didn't get the recognition he deserved. Brought it up - just to state the same would happen to this guy too ]

Ultimately decided on Microsoft Security Essentials, for the lap - as it has a genuine XP. Will have to find another for the D/T as it doesn't have same. More feedbacks/suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

Madz - it looks great !! thanks Suggestions as requested-- in the old page, when you click 'view all topics' it takes to you the 02nd page - where the topics/author/no of view etc were displayed comprehensively . My suggestion is that be incorporated in this too. I'm agreements about the Mods, but don't let the forum become too boring!! I sometimes enjoy the banter between members. However when it becomes too personal & when there are punches below the belt - it leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Also since there is an influx of new members - they'll be reluctant to post when they are snubbed at the very outset. Sorry for bringing this up again. I've been using Norton 360 - 3 user [need only 02 - but cheaper than buying 2 singles ] for 2 years. No issues. Only 20 days to go- for it to expire. However just heard the 3 user is not available any more. question is -- do you guys still recommend Kaspersky - as stated above? From where can I get it? I need a 2 user if available. Actually its my fault - because the serious buyers wanted to see the car -[which I agree is an absolute prerequisite]--but i'm stuck here - in outstation. Car was not brought to Colombo after the ad was placed [For all those who called -IF - on A/L-- the Car will be in Colombo - every weekend - after the school hols.]

i think both of you are correct -- a similar coloured car was parked at cin/lakeside and the info i got was that --it has been resurrected after a major crash.
