  1. well i a did an engine rebuilt recently too.. mine had clocked over 300K.. i was told not to rev over 2500 latest... since i had a shift light i adjusted it to signal me so i was on my guard.. they told me to stay under that amount for atleast a 1000KM's... think i agree with mani here.. and about the oil.. when u do a rebuid usually they put a better oil than standard.. because the engine isnt lubricated at all.. so i am wondering wheather they did that... what i meant from a a better oil is a better grade... so that the lubrication and protection is much more in the run in period... run in period is very important if u just did ur engine.... but if it was just a couple of times u took over 3000 then pretty sure its the job they did....

  5. my god.. if the thorrtle body was that badly damaged i dont think u will not have drivability symtopms... are u sure about this. .. i say get a second opinion from a reputed garage.. its baffels me how water damage caused this too... there is something wrong somewhere.. so before u go finding parts u should get that second opinion as to what excatly happened.. and i dont know if u know this... but thats one mean engine u have there just look at the standard specs.. i assume its VVTi.... and for a corrola to share the same engine has a celica and some others.... u are a lucky guy..   6. dont know if its just me.. but the jappnese one's finish is much better.. and safetywise i would go fo the jap one with ABS, EPS and the works.. but for that price difference i would have second thoughts....
  7. main differencs are interior, and options.. indian one doesnt have EPS also... the best way to spot it is from the radio antenna location...in the new swift if the antenna is at the back then thats jappenese... if its at the front then its indian.... hmmm...

  13. i have been quietly observing this thread.... i think racersedge was mentioned here truly and purly because of his presence with the honda folks... but i guess u cant really control anyone... the only thing is that events like this in SL are hard to come by these days and when something does come by people dont want it to go bad... what i think is we should do is have events in the future to cater to people who are gonna leave skid marks all over the place.. its better we give them an event so that they can do it freely rather than them doing it in the street or on an event like this and coiling on a lamp post or something like that...

  16. yeah machang pumped the same amount.. there is a small difference in the stearing for me.. but u never know whether its because of N or beacause i was under inflated when i went there....
  17. ok ok... boys.. i just got the tires filled today.. 200 bucks for all four.. u get three months of refills free.. then 50 bucks there onwards.. but i have to keep the recipet... no suprise there.. so taking into account the prices aborad... thats around a dolor and a half for all four tires.. which i feel is more than resonable... provided it is actually nitorgen that they pump in..... just to see i had felt the air it seems a little cooler than normal air.. but still u never know... hmmmm.. isnt nitorgen used as laughing gas..... if this is the case.... hmmmm.. maybe there is a way to test it...

  19. yep this is true.. i had to keep my ride overnight at the cinnaom grand police.. coz some dude in a kitted car has made a move on the OIC's vehicle.. and after that he has ordered all modified cars to be taken into custody.... and there i was driving along merrily to CR for the soccer world cup finals.....

  23. well this happens when ur battery cant take the load and when ur alternator is not powerful enough.. however when they do install high power amps they are suppose to rectify this with high end capacitors, voltage stabliazers, and lastsly step up transformers... if all else fails u need to put a bigger batery or a bigger alternator.. how big is the battery as in amperage and whats the amp rating on the alternator.. and what lastly whats the car....
  24. i know this is late.. but someone has advertised a RZ 1 and claims its turbo EFI.. did these come factory turbo....
  25. hmmm... check tire pressure regulararly.. keep under 2500 when ever possible... keep the foot off the gas where ever possible.. when u gain momentum u can let the car move on its own for a while untill u reach a certain speed.. but should not let it go too slow as u have to shift to a lower gear to gain power again and that eats all the savings again.. some people do this extremly well... shifiting to neutral... but u have to be careful when doing that in high speeds...
