you can go to the K&N site and search for ur model.. i bought the whole conversion KIT from them.. if its there for the astina which is over 18years old now.. it should be there for u.

yeah, if u have a old car this is true.. it wont ruin the engine.. but it will make it harder on the crank.. the newer ones dont have this problem. u can test this.. just put the fan on, not the AC.. and crank the engine.. u will see for the moment that the starter motor is running ur fan and other stuff will be off.

for bigger engines it does make a differnce even if its non turbo. for smaller engines the differnce comes in high RPM's. i have a cold air intake system on my astina.. its one of the first things i did.. but i have a k&n kit.. hasnt done me any harm yet.. seen a slight increase in fuel effeicency as well. if u are going to do it.. u have to do it right.. so get a good brand and kit.. a word of warning cleaning the filter will have to be done by u.. becuase its an overnight process. of spraying, oiling, and drying...

your day to day running parts are easily avalable for the mazda 323 interplay and hatch, and original are also avalble from the above mentioned importers, i have been haveing my astina for over 6 years now. only hard task for me was when i busted my air flow sensor trying to be too smart. but other than that the engines in mazda's are super durable.. mines clocked over 300,000 now.. so if u do get a good price go for it go for it.. conversions are a little hard but not impossible..

yeah i think first go to the agents to see if its actually the air flow sensor... accroding to ur symptoms i feel that even if it is the sensor its not fully gone yet..

welll like elvis says, u have to be more specific on what advice u need.. unless its one of those very quick lights. dont think keeeping it on first gear is a good idea mate.. just put it in neutral, handbrake for safety sake, and relax untill u get the amber light. be warned anything u do in SL as a driver might not be legal in any other country... because our land is like no other..
