we may have to face a bigger problem than that. Tailgating! With wide open spaces and straight roads and the traffic moving at similar speeds motorists will get disorientated and you'll always get that lunatic who's hovering 2" from your bumper. when there's space get the hell out of their way. when there isn't just pray you wont have to stop suddenly and abruptly. with the introduction of expressways i think we'll have to seriously alter the traffic laws and mainly driving tests

i once drove a kei alto with a 3 speed auto box. it was pedal to the metal on every gear and when it finally got into top gear i checked the speedo, cos the noise and sensation made me think it was near the limit, only to find it was doing 60 the maruti on the other hand feels a bit more composed. but still you got balls for taking it upto those speeds

you can get a late 1.0 vitz manual way below that budget and you'll get 10-15 km/l easily. if you want some handling to match its very decent perforamance invest on some tein s techs. however if you find a fit for that sorta money give it a second thought
