I've been in a Commander as a passenger and the interior is nothing special at all - design, texture of materials used all feel cheap. At that price the buyer has all the right to expect better. And to my eyes it looks a horror. I'd choose a Disco 3 over it any day if I can't afford a RR.

Yes I'd like to see them win. They won in Sebring earlier this year I believe. But then Le Mans is such a gruelling event.....

As an everyday car I prefer hatchbacks. Especially considering our very narrow, congested roads. A hot hatch will be perfect for me.

I believe the top (condiotion) price will be in line with international prices. In SL there's no mkt as such.... A few guys have a load of cars. Let's say you wake up tomorow and decide to by a Caddy. What can you do about it? Not much. Just keep your ear to the ground and wait until someone decides to sell. Which is so unlikely as the cars are with well heeled guys. You can't tempt them with an above average price. And you really have to be crazy about the car to do that. Where as a resto poject will be higher than the international prices. The seller's probably selling because he can't afford to restore it or has lost interest, needs money etc. And restorartion eventhough a lot harder in SL than in the UK is still a lot cheaper considering the labour rates. So it you can pick it up higher than the UK price and still bring it to concours cond with your cost lower than the UK price for a car in that condition. But buyers (and sellers) do need a reference and usually try to stick by the UK prices.

Relatively quite a cheap car. Only the Silver Shadows are cheaper I think...

Met two guys yesterday who were struggling to sell their cars. One's a 04 Civic and the other 01 Corolla Things are so bad. But they are likely to get worse in the near term unless something radical is done........or happens. Crime is going to increase for sure, so watch out!

Is it? 4 door? I thought 2. Unless there's a 2 dr. hatch as well. I once saw an Opel Coupe of similar vintage and it looked a lot better than this one. It was a light orange......very 70s.

The black 80s/90s limo used by President Premadasa? Not sure about the number but there's a white Caddi converti in the Classic car club I think it s EY.

Another interesting car has come up for sale is the Holden Torana. It appeared in last Sundays papers as well as the current Motor Mag. These make ideal mini muscle cars. I've seen so many in Oz with the compulsory 3.3 six cylinder transplant and fat alloys. I believe that an engine and gearbox should slot in straight. In fact there is a six cylinder car languishing in a garage in the cheap side of Borella.

This Kiyosho Stratos has lights! It needs to be mounted for them to work though as the batteries are on the stand. Unfortunately that pop up lamp does not pop up. It was a bit of a defective model. It came without a box and was quite cheap. Yeah the Aston comes with Bond and the Doorman .
