Visit darly road - loads of them and no issues
-
You should not have an issue provided that you do the regular maintenance of the filter and keep it oiled . Bugatti is running on a K&N for some time and no issues as such. Recommend not to go with a cone filter my many due to the oxygen sensor failing – panel filter should be Ok I’ve posted some DIY stuff for Mazda in the section – do a search . I’ll upload a method to increase air to the engine which I picked off a Mazda site Good luck

Mazda is a very good car and I believe you have set foot in the right direction. I don’t own a Mazda 3 or Axela but I’m on my 4th Mazda now – A BJ5W Hatchback is my current ride. Not too thrilled with the agents – if you go through the forum you would see some examples, can recommend the joint in Papiliyana (Mazna Motors) . Lights –yes those are cosmetic’s as you can easily change to clear lights – they came in from 2005 me think but could be wrong – 2004 came with the red ones – anyway not a big issue but clear ones look cooler. Sensors – well tend to be expensive but if it’s looked after no issues Some key points : · Gearbox – Since the Axela/3 come with tip tronic, there’s a special oil you need to use. It’s apx 25000K per can and needs replacing very 30000km’s So be sure to get the box checked · Look for proper maintenance records- should give you an indication. · Shocks are tax expensive and not as good/long lasting as the BJ5P’s - The road conditions here do not help. · Do a proper diagnosis and preferably hoist the car and check the undercarriage for any issues and issues with bushes etc. Drop me a PM and I shall give you some more information

Hi People, My mother bought the same Suzuki 2008 with a CVT gear box and when we did the first service via PIT Stop A*W, they too said the same thing about the lifetime oil – which I thought was a load of BS. I called them today to see if their technicians had completed the training they had been supposed to have gone , and they confirmed the story. Mind you there is no Dip Stick to check the gear oil. But the bloke I spoke to said that 100k was the limit but could not comment on anything more but they have put in reconditioned gear boxes and put in the fluid – thus it can be one. The fluid is expensive apx Rs. 4000/- a liter . I forgot to ask how much of oil is needed ; me guessing about 4 -5 Liters . I feel I should ask them to change it on the next service just to be on the safe side as all have mentioned. Every 20 or 30K should be good intervals to change CVT oil me think – Has any one else done a CVT change on Suzuki at PIT stop/A*W???

Thanks People, I thought as much but wanted to confirm the same.

I Picked this off a site when I was searching for some stuff on my Mazda, I actually made a grounding KIT for my previous BJ5P . But to be very honest there was no such noticeable difference – but there was a slight increase in the throttle response. Any way's there no harm that can come out of it so could be cool DIY if you want to spend some time doing something to the ride. Good luck PS. For the part that connects to the battery, I used a metal L shaped part which had to holes, 1 connected to the battery and the other 1 was used to connect all the cables. How to - Grounding KIT.doc

Hi People, Got a question regarding the use of McFoil to prevent heat. This is actually for a friend who’s doing up a project on a Ford Cortina. I advised him to use the foil in between the hood and hood lining and also other parts like the floorboard & firewall . Apparently some one has said that if you use in between the hood lining , it would damage the paint on the hood due to the heat resistance properties – What’s da story on this ? Pls advice Thx

Well there you go – Even Spiders love Mazda so much so they want their kids to be born inside one of them. Besides this recall was not due to a technical fault like the other brands out there
-
Highly unlikely u can get one for under 4 mill, If your friend can pls count me in – I don’t have the 4Mil but can get it for friends who would love the ride. There’s nothing Fishy about the design, even if it did look Fishy it all disappears when you get in – Light years ahead of the common Nissan & Toyota’s ( No offence guys)

oint Good Point there No issues with the brand – cars are superb and fun to drive…… Parts for Astina’s and old Interplays are getting hard to source as it’s been a long time since production and now it’s getting scare in supply. Hard to locate them even from Japan. The differences between the model has been discussed many a times- just check the forum, but to simply put it there’s not a huge difference I’m now on my 4th Mazda and still love the brand.

I'm 6 feet too.... Drive a Mazda with no major issues, a 2000 YOM should be in your budget , also try to look for a Lancer, EK 3 etc
-
ohhhh here we go again.... I can assure you , you wont get 12, 15 etc + in city traffic in most Subaru's

Could not have put it any better

Hi Folks, Got a problem with a Suzuki Swift – My mother had gone and bought a Swift simply because some fool in her office had said Mazda Demio had a manufacture defect - she’s hearing no end of my complaints naturally. OK to the issue : The model is a 2008, Swift 1.2XGA with CVT gearbox and does not have a dip stick for gear oil. A*W do not know how or even have the equipment to attend to the gear box oil change. As far as they know that oil was suppose to be lifetime ahhhhhhhh ??????? Does any 1 know how I can change the oil and what type of oil should be put in as I know CVT’s need to be taken care of promptly . Would love to know more information of the car from other users as well. E.g what’;s the “S” position next to the “D” etc… Thx in advance

1.5 to 2 years is way too long IMHO, Don’t think u need to replace any washers etc as there is no leak , a complete oil change is what you need and make sure no vacuum builds up . It can be a DYI but bit cumbersome – best take it to a normal garage and get them to drain the oil whilst filling in new oil. Should take 2 cans to do the full process – when I mean cans I mean the small ones say 300 ml I think . Make sure all 4 outlets are opened and drained form each so that u have all new oil flowing through the system . Cheers
