one of my mechanics bought a toyota carina like this. He ended up restoring the whole car after he bought it. he found lot of rust inside the door jambs and such. but again he owned the garage and he expected all of this. He bought the car very very cheap though. hope this helps.!

who are they? they only do conversions for american vehicles?. If I import a left hand vehicle can they convert it to right hand?

I lost my VIC before I sold my car. since it was registered in my name, I did the police report and paid Rs. 100 some to RMV to apply for a new VIC. took forever to get it. I think it took about over 6 months to get it. by the time I got the VIC the car was sold already! I didnt follow up accotdingly so may be that's why it took so long. But I sold the car with the receipts and police report I got and the new owner got the new VIC when he transfered to his name. that was my case. good luck!

Yeah... Tks for the info of HP-12. That explains why TP-12 price tag is around 2 Mil. I will do my search for HP-12 and B4. I havent seen HP-12 advertised anywhere yet. But I have seen TP-12's alot being advertised lately. Only thing worries about B4 is the Fuel. other than that B4 is the ONE !!!!!!.

RLan, On what grounds you got discouraged on TP-12 ? Subaru B4, what is the main difference between HP-12 and TP-12. ? sorry, not sure about the local market. I'm in USA right now and planing on moving back soon...

what is the difference between HP-12 and TP-12. My openion is B4 is better than the TP-12. But dont know about the second hand market and repairs when it comes to Suberu.

I would not recommend 406 as a first car. it is a owesome car to drive. handling and comfort. but unless you have some extra $$$ for repairs I wouldnt buy it. parts are available but expensive. Not every mechanic can touch these cars. Go for a Japanese. Best choice..

I used to owned D9, but I think as far as suspensions goes its almost the same. those are called suspension links. you have one upper and lower link on each side rear. each cost around Rs 2000 each after market. not at the agent. parts are available. those links needs to change every 5000 miles depending on driving. changing is not a big deal/ you have 4 in th back and 2 in the front
