  1. Yes it is. Which is why it was said, obviously.
  2. This forum has a feature called "search". I strongly recommend that you use it.
  3. Where the Hell have all the good E30s gone?

  4. Cheers Mani, Happy holidays to all and may 2011 be a bigger, better and more awesome year for everyone!
  5. Awesome topic VVTi, im ashamed to admit that I've fallen into some of the bad habits mentioned here myself especially when in a rush! quite an eye opener!
  6. Hey! Some of us consider 5 KM/L a pretty respectable figure!
  7. Oh really? And how can you be certain that it does not have a second hand market if the the vehicle was actually INTRODUCED less than 2 years ago? Fuel consumption of an Auto Sorrento (Diesel) if driven properly is very easily around 8-8.5KM/L in the city (speaking from experience of a friend's vehicle). So kindly get your facts straight before you post crap here, noob. Come to think of it, considering what you think is the "best suv for the duty free permit" I have a strange feeling that you're trying a pathetic attempt at guerilla marketing here....
  8. More likely GTR Badging.... The Skyline GTR was NEVER available in LHD as far as i know.
  9. Well the rest of the boys have pretty much covered the spectrum when it comes to what to say regarding the idea.. So I'll just say all the best mate! Please keep us updated...
  10. Statlanka, Retardlanka, Taxlanka, Consumptionlanka..... Damn I wish it was just Autolanka again!

  11. ROTFLMAO.... I actually burst out laughing at work while talking to someone and reading this at the same time!!! Well played sir, Well played.
  12. Do you imagine this to be a parts warehouse or something? Call Toyota Lanka, ask them nicely and they will let you know http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_1993_TOYOTA_HILUX_LN107-PRMGS_4803.html http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_1993_TOYOTA_HILUX_LN107-PRMGS_4804.html The above diagrams should help you find the part numbers...
  13. So the point of this thread was what exactly? Did your lecturer set you a content analysis exercise and you decided an automotive forum would be a good place to try it out? Or are you just THAT jobless? Idiot.
  14. Oh and on the subject who can forget "Doctor owned", "engineer used" or "Banker owned", all of which are classics!
  15. Thanks so much you guys! Appreciate it
  16. Listen you crotchety old anachronism, Nobody appointed you the spell check tool of the Forum (You ARE a different kind of tool of course but lets not get into that here). Since he joined the forum jdnet has contributed a hell of a lot of relevant and valuable information that is of help to all members and he doesn't do any of it in a pathetic attempt to drum up publicity for a failing con-job of a business like you do. I challenge you to find a single post where YOU have contributed anything that isnt either a bunch of useless gibberish, a copy paste off another site or am advertisement of yourself and that ridiculous rip off joint you call a business. So kindly do us all a favor you old goon and go take your dumps in the bloomin toilet and stop crapping all over the bloody forum! What was once amusing is now just profoundly irritating
  17. Nope... Kane Mail actually refers to the post 71 bugs which had small crescent shaped vents behind the rear side windows. These had plastic grilles in them. Hence, "Kane Mail"
  18. Inspired by the thread regarding the Swift lights, I figured we should try and come up with a list of the strange, amusing and also completely fabricated words that you come across in classified ads these days. Im guessing it should provide some insight into the weird and wonderful world of the car ad. So without further ado, here are some that I could think of. Everyone please feel free to add whatever comes to mind, this is a fun thread after all! Boku Alloy Wheel - Im guessing deep dished alloys? Allow Wheel - Commonly used. Almost considered an actual word now... Scoop Light - Projector-Optic headlamps "Angle" Eyes - Angel eye headlights Illumination Dash Board - self explanatory Dicky Light - Boot Light (I hope) Winker Mirrors - Side Mirrors with indicator repeaters built in "Nickel Handel" - Chrome plated door handles? "Modellista" - A trim grade on certain toyotas (Not sure, allion experts?) "Push Start" - A start button I hope, since the other more literal alternative isn't really a selling point. Teak Interior - Plastic wood on the dash and doors (rather obvious one, yes.) Scuff Illumination - errr.... Im guessing the kick plates in the door sills have lights? :S Seat Lifter - Height adjustable seats maybe? Im really not sure. *AUTO LIGHT POLE* - I Have NO idea. http://yfrog.com/0z14030760j
  19. JDnet you are now Officially AL's DIY guru lol... Awesome stuff man! Keep up the great work.
  20. Its a term that Car sale johnnies have coined to describe Projector-Optic headlamps. Relatively new fitment to jap cars. The term seems to have come in with the Allion 260's and such, you see it in the papers all the time now. Typically, some joker creates it and all the rest of the car buying sheeple adopt it.
  21. 300- is a 1996-97 registration. So it's possible that the car was a recon import that was registered in 96. Some people quote the registration year as the year of manufacture as well. Best thing to do is go check the car out dude.
  22. Really? That's strange... Ive been dealing with them since the mid 90's and have never had any issues going to the workshop floor.
