The EK3 guage is staying half level or just little below half level. And do you have this fluctuation in every stop and go situation or is it only when you are crusing in 5th gear? And also even in 5th gear if it comes below low level and stops at "C" some thing is wrong. But when you continously drive in 5th gear in night time may be around 60 - 80Kmph, guage coming little below the half mark and resting there is normal. But as said if it comes to "C" mark, get it checked.

In normal run mine stay steady just below middle position. However if I travel in 5th gear for longer period .. say about 3 - 4 Km, then it drops little lower. And if I climb down the "Kadugannawa" in 4th or 5th gear without much acceleration, it almost hit the lower mark depending on the time I travel. However with in 1 - 2 Km it comes back to normal.

I don't think he didn't mean alternator should replace. But if alternator failed, you need to get it checked by professional. And you can't find short cuts if you take this restoration seriously.

or don't turn the alternator.. there is some thing called starter motor. Remove the alternator belt and fix it to stater motor and see..

Ok guys.. just got confirmation from a police source, roads will be closed from Friday night. Most likely after office crowd go home. And some unverified source said presidents son has been practicing last night or day before. It seems we can have some decent crowd for the event. If you guys meet let me know. its not gonna easy to find good spot since pavements are very narrow.

Well me too personaly don't like the dashboard in middle. However considering the ease of accesing/meter reading i think having the dashboad middle with slight angle towards the driver is safty. If you look at your eye movment when you brings you eye down with virticle movement it takes you away from the road for split second compare to the moving eye to left side with horizentle move. But its still look ugly.

I doubt if this the case exactly. If you get the noice due to cylinder wear and gap between piston and cylinder, I think the car is treated really badly compare to its mileage. And as stated I don't think its commen issue with Exi model, because I knew one car which did around same mileage without any problem.

You were checking accelerator cable in Kandy, isn't it? There is a place called "Nilmini Cable" who imports cables only. Check with them if you still dint found it.

Yes I think we all have the same issue or may be it's not an issue at all. Only difference I noticed is after a tune up with a new air filter for about 2 months you can have very smooth idle. But after again with dusty roads and every thing else this happen. So either we can keep doing tune ups in every 3 months or start to live with it as long as it dosn't escelate further.

Some times mine rpm drops 300 - 500, but it happen very randomly specially if I stuck in a traffic. When moving very slowly in fist gear and when clutch fully engaged to stop movment, rpm drops very low and keep it for while. But it has not effected performance or fuel economy so far.

There was honda sensor thread which I expalined it. However this is what happened. TPS (throttle position sensor) voltage was low, which means the ECU thing the throttle was closed. Thus cut of the fuel. This result in sudden RPM drop (2K/2.5K to 1K). This results rpm fluctuation and if you continue to move you will have quick jerks. Also note I've got feedback from some, its not only TPS failure cause this. But IAC, MAF sensor failures can have similar issues. However in my case if was TPS.

Well I've been using it for 1.5yrs now. Didn't had issue in allignment so far. But I've used to get it checked and adjusted in every other service or so. I also get the Kiri Kiri noice from back righ hand corner, which I noticed from some interior. But it doesn't come in carpetted roads. My biggest issue is the low ground clearence with 15' rim and with front lips. All 4 doors are very rough, I tried with oil,grease but still the same. Only sensor related issue I had is the TPS sensor fault. Just got cleaned and now good as new.

as ripper said it is most likely the old battery. I still coudn't find out any where you mention how old the battery is??????. You can do some basic tests and find out how healthy you battery is. Battery technitian will get few bucks from you and will say battery is weak.

i've seen one running very rarely. Not sure about YOM but fist generation. Does any one know about the price for CRZ. Heard asking price is around 5.8M ??
