  1. Well yeah was doing a bit of research myself, my standard 255x70R15s are out in another approx 10000-15000km and I was considering using a 31x10.5R15 All terrain, or a 265X75R15 without any mods as I ve seen many vehicles with the setup in stock configuration. But I fear whether it will have an effect on the pulling power of the truck. Any ideas, suggestions? Apologies to the OP for a minute thread hijacking.
  2. Interesting reply Hardhat, just out of curiosity, would this affect a diesel as well? with the added torque?
  3. Bringing this thread up again for a query. Would there be significant power gains after dividing the exhaust between the barrel and the exhaust tip? No plans to fix mufflers, Planning to do this to the Hilux.. Its running the Intercooler Turbo common rail diesel engine, will it be of any use? Thanks
  4. Great one schiffer...
  5. Sorry for barging in, off topic.. Just wanted to know the current going price of an Impreza STI 9, seen some decent examples for sale, just wanted to justify the price..
  6. And afaik it has 2 gauge clusters on each side,,,

  8. I've used a Steelmate Active sub before, not this model though, very effective at normal user levels..
  9. Just a fact - Defenders have very thin pillars and barely block the field, then again they have small windshields too...
  10. I bet it knew you clicked a pic, fellas gonna take yer house down in the night
  11. Well starting off with the Vigo thing, well the only difference in the Vigos are that they've got the hideous "bling" and the later ones have the VGS Turbo The Vigo is the Thailand version. The HL2.HL3,Invincible are the UK variants. If the UK versions were properly maintained there is no rust issue, they have a special undercoat periodically done to cope up with the salt spray used during winter, besides the Navaras have the severe rust issues.. Apparently the 3l is a tad bit powerful but reviews say they have a severe injector failure issue (reference http://en.wikipedia....oyota_KD_engine) Have not heard this issue in SL anyway 2.5l almost bullet proof, mind you it is not that economical if you are heavy footed, besides I feel super diesel is mandatory.. Manual, my preference, allows you to harness the output properly The heavy vehicle issue came with some two door versions and smart cabs (two door+ the smaller doors) Double cabs have the dual purpose registration Luxury tax? it has the semi luxury tax; starting off with 50,000 and halving every year..
  12. Well its my bad then cause I'm not whatsoever related to an aviation profession/background thus I posted it on the basis that he's been stupid enough to paste an Airbus logo on his rear window.
  13. If i'm not wrong those are Audi R8 lights? Must've cost a bit eh..?
  14. The airbus has landed!
  15. I think he refers to the 'Limp Mode' along with the check engine indicator in case of some issue. commonly happens when the DPF is blocked due to poor quality fuel, poor engine oil, lack/deficit of self cleaning system etc I've heard that Navaras are not the most reliable and the 4wd system is also troublesome to maintain. As a Hilux (Euro) owner; this is also not easy to maintain either but I believe it is only as half as troublesome as the rest. In terms of reliability and satisfaction- top notch!
  16. The lamps are perfect, what I meant was the rally specials didn't have covers shouting out "DENJI". My suggestion was simply telling him to maintain the authenticity of the car by either removing them or coloring them. Of course its his car and he'll do whatever he wants.. Btw my post may have been useless as my intention was simply to bump up his post. Sorry if i pissed anyone off. My knowledge on Minis may not be as much as you guys but my next car is gonna be a Mini- Hope that explains the enthusiasm and barging in up with that post in the first place. Thank you Thank you
  17. Congrats, First of all get rid of those front lamp covers, or atleast paint em black or something... Don't worry there are plenty of mini owners around who'll show you the way.. hold on
  18. Now thats my kinda DIY..
  19. FYI Been using CEYPETCO Super diesel, had no issues..
  20. Do you guys have any experience on the RD5 CR-V? I've found a 2003 model brand new import, 137000 km on the clock.. Seems pretty solid, quoting 4mil... Pretty convincing.. What do you guys think? Actually it was advertised on AL by the previous owner (prior to the current owner) but I feel quoting it here would be against forum rules. (btw I did do a search and even though previous posts pop up when I click them the browser just points back to the forum index page, is it just me or is this an issue with the site? )
  21. Btw thanks for the info mate, So far are all Ceypetcos and IOCs both affected? Damn I have a trip comin up and about a quarter left in the fella.. Is the Super ( hopefully low sulphur diesel ) also affected?
  22. Happy Birthday bro!
  23. Had a set of Hella horns in my Defender, got them in 2007, held up well even after years of wading.. Cost about 3000 bucks then, if I recall right, The package was something like this, came with complete harness to plugin to existing loom..
