Yup... got them cleaned initially by Zakie also

Yeah... did a injector & throttle body cleaning from P@tStop as well :-) no luck

:-) my ECU is not busted... the reason for the replacement is cos the fuel economy is bad & after getting the car checked by a few Experts (Zakie, Rohan, Upul) and finally the Agent ...the agent said the injector open time is far too much for this model and since the sensors are also working fine, it's a bug in the ECU. As you might know.. the EK3 ECU cannot be re-programmed... hence i'm thinking of replacing & the re-map is to get a bit more power (if possible) and i'm also looking @ getting the K&N air filter fitted as well. Hope this clears things up

Called Motorcade... they only have the Cone filter... and they dont fit it either..... anyone know where i can get the full job done ?

Not an option @ the moment :-) guess ill keep what i have & do some mods like air filters....etc get @ least a few BHP's more :-) if possible..... thanks for the feedback guys....

if i remember correct when i called him he said the EK Stock ECU cannot be re-mapped

Mine is a auto.... and the 1ms issue is still there... so im looking @ maybe remapping or replacing the ECU..... do you know where i can get the remapping done ? also cost ? :-)

Did all the tests you & the others suggested... still no luck... lately i have noticed a rough gear change from 1 to 2 & 2 to 1 sometimes..... Rohan said all this fuel efficiency issues might be the gear box all along.... guess i'll go with the Gear box replacement .... anyone else out there got any suggestions ?.....

Hi Guys, some of you might remember ....I have an Civic 2000 Exi (Automatic with the D15Z4 Engine). Not much power but it's supposed to be very fuel economical. But mine isn't. So i took it to the agent and a few other experts to check what the issue was & finally the agent plugged the Diagnostic Computer & did a full check. They said the Injectors are opened for too long (when idling it should be around 2.7 - 3.1 ms) but mine is around 3.5 - 3.7 ms and there is nothing that they can do.... What are my options ???

Hi Guys... i did some research and read that the B18A1 & B18B1 engines are compatible. any feedback & cost ? the articles i found said that most B series engines will be compatible...
