  7. i had a 1995 EG8 (Ex - Carb Model) from 2002 to 2005. it had done 134k when i got it & 175 when i sold it....here are the issues i had but all in all i loved the car... fun to drive, comfy & good looking too 1. A/C - had to replace the compressor ... it was gone 2. Carb - once the packing set was put from agents... no issues @ all with the carb 3. shutters were getting stuck since the rubber beading was old...

  9. Hi Everyone... thought of adding my issue to the same thread... hope u guys don't mind.... My EK3 @ 1st & 2nd doesn't pull well and sometimes the shift down from 3rd to 2nd has a jerk... i noticed this specially going up hill and when the car needs to shift down the get more power it hesitates & then shifts down with a jerk...showed it to my mechanic & he said to run it until it fails or get really bad & then to replace...... One other thing i noticed is when the A/C is on.. the car feels very heavy.... I NEED AN SECOND OPINION... need to know if there's a way to get it fixed (cost effectively )

  19. Got a pair of 4500K Narva from M@t@cade... 1500 LKR for both... very happy with the change.... only thing you might need to get used to is that during twilight time you will not see the beam like in normal yellow bulbs
  20. Just my feedback machan... since the Corolla is the most popular in SL
  21. i would advice on a Civic EK3.... As SpEeD FrEak mentioned... it's a good car... spare parts are not that expensive as ppl might think or say .. if someone starts going on abt how Honda Civic is so expensive to maintain...blah blah blah... just ask if they have actually maintained one and most of the time the answer would be NO .... for example... i changed the shock for 6500 each (Brand New) ... full timing belt replacement with parts @ the Agent was 14k .... suspension might be a bit more exp than let's say a toyota corolla...Why ???... that's cos the civic has a more complex suspension (more components) than a corolla, thus you spend a bit more to repair it... but it has way better handling than a toyota corolla for sure Corolla fans.. don't get me wrong... but i'd go for a EK3 over a 121 any day it's a very good car.. handles well, comfy, looks good too and if you are into mods, then you have millions of options to modify you baby maintain it on time, used it carefully & it will run & run & run and you will deff enjoy driving it.
  22. Hi Guys..... Anyone know where the HO2S are located on the Civic 2000 EXi ???

  24. 165*80 - 13 .. i assume it's a small car..... my personal experience was that Bridgestone is softer hence cannot be used as long as let's say Dunlop. i used both brands on my prev car & found that Dunlop gave a harder ride than Bridgestone. Since your car is a smaller model, i guess a softer set of tires would be the ideal (given the road conditions you drive in & if comfort is what you are looking for) But please don't go for Ceat or any Chinese brands... cos i learned a very good lesson by trying to reduce cost..... ..Harder Rubbers, Road noise is so high that you hear a hum after abt 50kmph
