Hi,

I want to replace my tire set for my car ( 165*80 - 13")

I was asking from here and there and they were telling this brand this brand this much that much <_<

I am looking a good tire and also the not so much expensive one

Which brand you guys are recommended? I am not really like chinese ones

but japan,indonesians are ok

i have been using Bridgestone Indonesian made ones for the past 7 years (not the same set of tires :) ) ..but they have been excellent... bit exp i think but is comfy & quiet too....

Hi, there were several threads on the subject... use the search in AL home page... but If I remember right, the opinions were divided as usual... but you may get an idea on the options to match the requirement you've got in mind...

165*80 - 13 .. i assume it's a small car..... my personal experience was that Bridgestone is softer hence cannot be used as long as let's say Dunlop. i used both brands on my prev car & found that Dunlop gave a harder ride than Bridgestone. Since your car is a smaller model, i guess a softer set of tires would be the ideal (given the road conditions you drive in & if comfort is what you are looking for)

But please don't go for Ceat or any Chinese brands... cos i learned a very good lesson by trying to reduce cost..... :) ..Harder Rubbers, Road noise is so high that you hear a hum after abt 50kmph

GT tyres are better they give lowest cost per km. I use them over a decade with several vehicles of mine. But they are harder than Japanese.

you can buy DUNLOP cheaper than GT GT not comfortable. i recommend Dunlop
