    Seriously? Why is that?
  2. I'd be honoured to have a ride in that car! What a machine! The sheer dedication he must have to bring that car to that level of performance is amazing!

Go there and make some major noise. Usually gets the job done!
  4. mmmm not that I recollect. Should call and check..........
  5. The thought just makes me very You won't like me when I get angry!
  6. Well said.......
  7. Mate, just a quick question. Were YOU there? Did you SEE a RACE between the WRX and the CBR? What WE SAW was the said CBR tail-gating the WRX. So in your own words, if the bike could "LICK" the car then why was he tail-gating him? There was no RACE between the two. Just immature, careless riding as we have seen from almost all the bikers that have frequented GP in the recent past. Unfortunately for him and more so for his family, that was his last ride. Your "Ass-hat in a Subaru" comment is quite interesting as we atleast in YOUR opinion wear an "ASS-HAT". Probably SOME sort of protection including a seat-belt. If your fellow biker WAS wearing OUR so called ASS-HAT he may be living today. Come to think of it, none of the biker boys wear ASS-HATS at GP. Strange Cheers!
  8. Will let you know about that in the coming month or so as a new toy is on the way for my baby..... However according to Jehan, apparently car mart and some others have sent fuel samples to singapore to be analysed. So looks like we are not alone in this matter....
  9. Yep something fishy about the fuel. Even my car has carbon traces in the exhaust already.
  10. I go by the feel and sound of the engine and rev-match when going through neutral. Like I said takes some practice but you will surely get there
  11. Yeah and you love it! We'll miss it when we get rid of it
  12. No worries buddy......it takes a bit of practice to feel the revs and match it but you'll get there. I'm also still a long way off from perfecting it.
  13. Flames? More like BOMBS out of mine! LOL! Waiting on some toys for both mine and Jaffs cars to eliminate that.
  14. Ah the memories of that struggle! LOL!
  15. In that case, I'm experiencing the same thing. I'm running a little on the rich side but still there seems to be an unusual amount of carbon build-up as you mentioned. Washed my car last night and thoroughly scrubbed the exhaust. Will let you know the result after a day or two.
  16. Actually, come to think of it........would this have started to happen maybe 3-4 months back for you Gunat?
  17. Double-clutch AFAIK is not required in the newer cars due to the synchros. They were required in the older cars. Regarding the Heel-toe (for rev-matching), yes it is required if you wish to remain in an optimum power band to use engine-braking or power out of a corner\overtake. Principle is that you use toe on the brake and heel on the throttle or vice-versa. Some of us prefer to use toe on the brake and the side of the foot for throttle. Really depends on the position of your pedals and the size of your foot. The idea is, when down-shifting you are shifting into a lower gear which is essentially at a higher rpm. However at that particular moment your current gear rpm is lower. So when down shifting you match the revs of the engine to the revs of the lower gear and clutch out. The process makes the car a lot more stable and prevents that annoying jerk. Darin should be able to correct any mistakes I've made...... Hope this helps.
  18. Too bad we found out about the 'Racing' only after we put the Ultra Maybe I'll change again in a month or two........
  19. Depends on whether you wanted to fix a cone or an OEM replacement to the box. The latter was recommended by the agents themselves to me.
  20. GOOD LORD!!!!!!!! I think I just fell in love!
  21. Yes it was....
  22. Force-Fed Tuning man!! Road-side garage!
  23. Get the OEM replacement K&N high-flow filter for the B4. That's the same thing I'm running on and get Jehan to do the resonator box removal that we did on mine. You will have the best of both worlds then. Regarding the plugs mate, follow Jehan's advice on it. DO NOT go for the Iridiums as B4s have been known to have severe issues with those. You will just end up with a lot of burnt green monaras that served no purpose. Treat her right and she will not cease to amaze you........... ain't that right Jaffs?! Suranga.
