hello again guys, can someone please tell me what's the stock tyre size of a peugeot 1998 - 406 D8 1.8L would be. Currently I'm having 195/65/R15 on the front and 205/65/R15 on the back. Somehow I feel this is incorrect.

Guys can you please tell me what are things to look out for when buying a Peugeot 406. I know i should have asked this earlier. Like what are the common things that could go wrong, and something like a checklist from your experiences.

Also guys is the Steering on Peugeot's stiffer than Japanese cars. I know the car is heavy.. but you shouldn't feel it right.

Thanks.. This Peugeot is had 2 owners, done abt 111k, maintained by carmart till about 6 months ago and then by that place in Battaramulla. No problems except for that link replacement. Interior and exterior in very good condition. And I can get it for 1M. Is it worth it ?

First positive answer I got so far.. every one says "parts are not available.." , "parts are super expensive..", "you better have a fuel bowser tail u cause it drinks fuel..", "no market value.." the list goes on.. I hv got enough negativity frm my friends and family I'm nearing the point where I'm abt to give up on the idea of ever buying a Peugeot.. People who have Peugeot's and use them on their day to day life.. can you please give some comments...

hi guys.. earlier iwas looking for a primera p11 and you guys really helped me out.. but it didn't work out.. Then I saw this Peugeot 406 http://autolanka.com/ad.asp?ID=8791 I'm really really starting to like this car. I went to check it out.. everything looks good.. But there is a small issue (I think) with the rear suspention. The guy said a link is failing and needs replacement. My question is can some one please let me know is this is a costly job ? And whats the current market price for this car ? Thanks in advance.

well its not as bad as it sounds.. but yeah if i do decide to buy it i'm gonna do a full check up on it. The buffers are not busted but they have been scratched due to carless driving and low ground clearance.. But from what you guys are saying 10.5 does seems low.. better get an experts advice on the condition.. thank you all for the info.. i'll keep you updated on the situation.

yep thats the one.. I didn't post it here cause I didn't knw if its allowed. Do you think its worth for that amount ? apart from the paint job and suspensions it needs new tires, possibly new front ,rear bumpers, and fog lights r burnt.
