For me, all the stuff came to home except one occasion i had to go to nearest post office to clear a cammera bag , but no tax. i think you may have to pay taxes for stuff like headlights but i think its still cheaper.Most of the ebay sellers usually undervalue the item and they mark as gift in the package, so there is not much of a issue with light weight goods.

machan 35k is bloody good price for angeleye heads with xenon!. i had to spend 52k for heads+ two sets of xenon about 1y back. I think ebay is the best bet.

I think what komi reffered was us car smile auto at attidiya. They hav lot of honda parts with reasonable price tag. ( cuz ive got set of double power eg mirrors for 8500). you can find enough details via their web site-carsmileauto.com.( Hpe im not breaking forum rules!). i also loved to do such a upgrade with my ride (similar to u) so let us know the progress!

Absolutely right mate!.My story is quite similar to u except im havin 19- eg and i too restored it and used for my weddin. so im really thrilled to meet one who put more value to driving pleasure than the english num plates cuz its really rare in our feild!.Did u come to csth recently,cuz i was there at csth till early 2010.

Actually what im going to describe is not a issue but thought of sharing it as it may help someone . I had a issue with ac system in my EG last week and it was due to bad ac compressor . so i called almost all the famous honda spare parts shops and belive me they didnt hv sigle eg ac compressor. Then i came with the old compressor to delkada and guess what, actually my old one was a ek compressor. Actually i had to replace the evaporator as well and Ek one is a identical to eg. Actually this is the third item that i came a cross that match perfectly( previously ive replaced wiper motor with arms from ek to my eg). Hope this info will help someone !

I bought double power mirror set for 8500 from car smile auto - bellantara(dehiwala). Its difficult to find a eg double power switch and relay and the best way is to buy from ebay. You need to wire them and you can find few articles with pics in the net .

As nexus said you need power mirror set and a switch or you can go step futher and make it double power and it needs mirror control relay additionly. Actually im in the process of converting my single power to double power(eg8) and waiting for the relay wich i bought from ebay. i think its useful to have retractable power mirrors cause i paid the price by not folding the mirrors manualy when parking and ended up with a retracted mirror in the wrong way!

I also had similar issue sometime back(Eg8). i had kyb in front and tokico in rear(gas). But it was really uncomfortable on non carpeted roads. my mechanic told me that its a common issue with those shocks and need to hav genuine shocks to get that smoothness. Actually it was a real shock :action-smiley-060: to me due to the price of genuine shocks. so i got recon 4 shocks from us motors for 20k with coil springs and belive me threre is massive difference in ride comfort.( you need to find shocks from a same vehicle ,if you r goin for recon onces). Now almost one year and still doin wel.

you r dead right mate!. I just found the pic of it,which i took at last year motor show and it was in grey colour. I think owner has spent another 50k or more to make it bad to worse!

yep. i also saw a similar car in gray colour in last year colombo motor show. At that time it has bodykit.lk sticker on rear bumper. I think i took a pic of it due to pure curiosity. so need to find that to confirm the doughts!.

wasn't this one present at the last day of this year colombo motor show with a silver colour paint. If i remember right, it had a bodykit.lk sticker.

Its 28 for a eg. just open the driver side door, and there is a label with details of tyre pressure. I think its normal to lose pressure with time, but check the condition of the tyre from a tyre shop.

not at all mate! I have driven my 19- eg several times. but i have yet to see a sri numbered vehicle.

Nice upgrade mate!.Is it a DIY job or do you need expert help. cuz im also loking for this upgrade and please post more details like where you got it fixed and was it delivered to your home or got it stuck at colombo.

Of course you can change lights and its a DIY job, if you are brave enough to remove the plastic trim without braking it. but changing lights wont give you the look that you want to get.For that you need to buy guage faces from ebay as already mentioned by kalinga and they come with lights. But if you want to add a rpm meter i think you need to buy a guage cluster first and think on the upgrade after that.Do u have a auto one?.

Same here bro. I bought a pioneer usb player with speakers sometime back.After sometime player satarted to turn off from time to time, when travelling on rough roads. Then i just pulled out the set and found out that they havent connected the ground wire. They are not really proffesional in their work.

Whats in your pic is available at tec motors for 29k with halogen bulbs. (went there today)I dont know wheather its possible to find projector aftermarket lights with hids.

Machan my friend bought it from tech m**rs,about 5months back. It came with conventional H1 and H3 bulbs. Im goin to tech motors during this week. so i will be able to update you about it.

There are two screws in each set of lights to focus the beam either up & down or left to right. just park the car some distance away from a wall and adjust them. hpe this will help you.
