Its like this. Few weeks back i was going to get a Honda Beat for 660,000 which was a bit hacked and it was 1992. For what i heard from everyone was that it doesnt worth 450,000. But still i wanted it as it had another value for me than a resale or real worth of it...(DevZ,Isuru,Dilan,Racersedge,Miniace are witness for how much i killed myself for it) For me it wasnt market value etc it was just HONDA BEAT.

Regarding your deal, think of your deal in this angle..

-Its almost 10years old

-Its a 300 dash car , which means the market value is nearly over interms of numbers. Becuase nowadays buyers look for the reg number as well.

-And you are going to pay 1.8 milion for that while you can get maybe a 1st owner Civic for that price with new registraion

Try the Sunday Papers this time, i saw a 2002 Integra going around the same price of yours-Just browse and see, i could be wrong on the price though.

Bullsh*t price.. Better car than the Camino for sure. Is this a Green one? Enough and more auto Integras around.. even more that the manuals. The silver car for sale in the Times is 1.6lt car and cannot be a 2002. The car was not made in that year.

Autos suck.. :)

yes there are quite a few ITR's in SL... there are about 4 DC5's and 2 DC2's that i know of...

regarding the 300- car you are referring to, is this the car in kohuwala?

the integra is quite a good car but pls remember that when selling it, most people won't care about bhp. they will only wonder about fuel efficiency etc. in my opinion, 1.8 is a bit too much...

if you are into cars, then buy the car and do a manual swap. you will have a good time.

the car u speak of works out to be a "Integra Sir-G" - if i'm not mistaken é "GS-R" grade was limited to the US spec Acura badged cars

if its a mid-late 1990's car on é DB8 (sedan) body shell it should be pushing out 180 BHP @7600 RPM & 175Nm @ 6200 RPM even with é auto box...

...check é owner history carefully - last thing u want is a car with a engine which has been taken to é limits n beyond - which is likely given é type of car...

tread carefully

@ PILLAWOOS

my spec sheet says otherwise...

http://www.superhonda.com/tech/honda_engine_codes.html

please note that é GS-R was strictly US spec for é Acura Integra

also

http://www.hybridgarage.com/tech/bseries.html

note é difference in compression ratio between é B18C & B18C1 motors

also é 180 i quoted was a PS figire which works out to 177.54 BHP but still for all , é figures You qoute r US spec!

So its YOU who is MISTAKEN sénör

but which ever way HP figures as such arent really gonna matter , unless lil shane is gonna cane it n drag it down every street all é time!

hmm not much of difference

true but the type R was considerably lighter..... sound deadening material was stripped off, and several other weight-saving mods which i'm not sure of..... Honda Specialists? can we know more please?

well é ITR 's ver 70 kg lighter than é GS-R (&é GS-R did come in a 4 door spec DB8 shell as did é ITR's of é late 1990's)

ITR's threw out as S_N said 197BHP - although é GS-R & ITR had virtually é same B18C motor , é core differences were in é ENgine compression ratio , Valve lift angles & gap

also é manual gear box was all that was offered with é ITR as opposed to é auto option on a GS-R - & the ratios on á Manual box differed from é others

furthermore é ITR's specialisty was a Helical LSD
