Get your wheel speed sensors checked. And if all fails, check your brake lights! Happened to me once, ABS indicator came on, checked everything possible and even replaced the ABS relay only to find that I have blown both the brake lights replaced them and the indicator went off.

Had terrible stock halogens mate, I settled for these instead of HID's ; http://www.narva.com.au/products/browse/h4 came with some relays and stuff , have no idea what it is really, local electric guy got them installed. Far better than the halogens, cost me around Rs.8000.

Well mate, Ferdinand Porsche designed and built the VW bug alright but the fact is that porsches design haven't changed much from the bug has it? I think Porsche should try to add some variety to their design, I mean, to me, who has absolutely zero knowledge on porsches its quite difficult to spot the differences between a carrera, a 911 and a cayman and a I thought they were up to something with the Carrera GT which looked quite nice and had a unique look to it but no. But then after seeing the panamera I thought its better they stick with the same design.

Well then, after the last attempt to bring down a axela under gift permit scheme not working out very well as the gift permit scheme suddenly stopped, I thought about giving it another try as they have reintroduced the gift permit scheme. But this time leaving out the mazda, I'm looking at a 2006/7 Toyota Auris, ran an internet search and found out it was the replacement for the corolla. Despite being the replacement for the corolla, it haven't quite caught up with the car market here from what I could see, there were only one or two advertised in AL as well. Any reasons for this? and saw some nutter quoting almost 4mil for an 2008 Auris in the sunday papers. Will any other spare parts store other than the agent have the common spares like timing belts/CV joints/brake pads etc? Any owners here? Would appreciate if you guys could share some info. and btw, does any one knows the prices of Toyota CVT fluid? Cheers!

A local chap did the tint on my previous car, nothing fancy just a dark tint all around,cost me around 1500 and its been about 3 years and I still see that car around with the same tint, no discoloring whatsoever!

Could someone give me a fair idea of the price of a HID conversion kit? Thought of changing mine too, maybe to something around 4000k.

Well, could be that they are designed to work on a slightly higher temperature than the others, but I've noticed this with Toyota's VVTi engine on the Vitz.

I think you cannot import any damaged vehicle to SL, unless you repair it and then import it.

Seems like a blown bulb, buy a bulb from any auto electrical shop and either you could replace it yourself(if you can take out the meter cluster) or get it done at a garage, just a simple job of replacing the bulb.

Its not a bad car at all but it being your dream car, there is a good chance that someday that you will look at the most of the other hondas and think that your car looks "naked"(if you had bought a stock car) and go get a body kit,loud exhaust,loud stereo and all the other typical stuff you might find. And naturally you come to think of yourself as a street racer and go around town causing misery to each and everyone on the road. Please, if you end up with a good honda, keep it the way it is. Adding a set of alloy wheels won't a hurt. 10-11kmpl would be possible with careful driving but it depends on your driving style as dilesh had mentioned, but my thought is, however careful you try to drive you can't resist when a trishaw or a lorry tries to overtake you, so most of the people like me end up getting around 9kmpl in city even in a starlet!
