  1. only one of them has got escaped unhurt!!
  2. may be they dont have in the stock at the moment. they used to have all the bushes including upper arm, lower arm etc..genuine, original jap and other makes.
  3. dont expect much from a thaiwani bush.. that will survive little longer than a year. always better to go for a japanese though not genuine.

  5. mi and ml is not vtec. 300-301 plate vi would go between 1.4 to 1.6 english plate vi would go from 1.7 to 1.9 or ven more. i sold mine for 1.94
  6. folks, anyone has more news on this?? what happened to the two pilots? hope they are safe!
  7. correction! "so called experts" obviously local i always believe the mineral old would do justice to any engine, new or old.
  8. you would be better of swaping a d15b with ecu and wire harness. d15z4 ecu is of no use in the evnt of a conversion. so is the wire harness of the same. and the z head does not support the vtec mechanisem. and most importantly, you would be really lucky if you could find a complete engine eire harness and ecu now adays. simply becoz of the age of the vehicle and lot of enignes have been already used for swaps in the last decade.
  9. u gonna get it big time tonight!!
  10. lot of honda expeerts say synthetic oil doesnt go with vtec engines. dont know how true since i have never used synthetic in mine. always used Mobil mutigrade.
  11. always good to change the oil filter every 5000 km. this is way too much.
  12. check the tuned i -chips website. you can get all the details there.
  13. jeeze...what the hell was wrong with the front suspension when you bought it? seems there wasnt anything in good order in your front suspension
  14. just wanted to find out who the makabass was. not to pay a courtesy visit
  15. i highly doubt the noice is due to the new bushes. you would have alredy had the noice but you might had bigger issues to listen to than listing to this kiri kiri noice i guess by the way, who was the mechanic?
  16. ha....now you are talking EP 82 is a nice car and a power house if its a GT. my only worry is whether you could find a gt kit.
  17. it would be a difficult thing to predict the life time of a used shock since we never know the condition and mileage of the car which the shocks were taken out. could be anything between 6 months to 2 years. a wild guess. new ones would cost you somewhere around 8-10 k and used ones may cost you half the price.
  18. that kiri kiri noice wont go off even if you replace the suspension. ideally it should be coming from rear right hand side. correct?? i was trying to figure out the source of that sound for nearly an year but i failed. cheap shocks mean the used ones. places may vary on where you stay. colombo? Kandy??
  19. fitting dual core condensers are very common for EK's. it works perfectly alright. the slightest issue is you could see that the bigger condenser is squeezed in when you open the bonnet. Danno Danithi
  20. but issue arises again in no time. the lasting solution is to replace the door stoppers. only agent has it. or else in junk shops. but even in junk shops, you will find everything but the door stopper for the ek3 telling with my own experience.
  21. teck motors would be the best bet.
  22. yeah Jdnet! but i had do a lot to made up mind to sell may last civic which was a manual vtec.
  23. i drove 2 vtec eks for 3 years and this is what i experienced. eks are very famous for uneven ware out of tyres no matter how many times you get your alignments checked. D15 B engines are famous for idling issues and need frequent cleaning of idle control valve. all the door stoppers (detent rods) tend to make noses and becomes rough when time passes. both ek and eg is famous insufficient air condition due to the small condensers they use. a lot of ek's have issues with front windshield beeding since it tends to go out of shape and need replacing. rear suspension tends to give you enough troubles if the trailing arm bushes and other links are not genuine or not in good condition. oil leakages from tappet cover packing is something you would experience after the engine runs about 120k kilometers. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with the CVT GEARBOX. its just that people didnt know how to maintain them. be ready to replace the power antenna after some time (if you have got a one in your car!) thats all i could retrieve at this odd time of the day
