yes it is a common issue of that device. the device did not do any modification to the radio-set, hence the displaying frequency is still unchanged. only convert the local FM frequency to, a frequnecy can be received by the radio-set. eg: if local FM frequncy is FM108, it will convert it to FM88 that the radio can capture it. the distrotion and the poor signal is also depend on the radio set as well as the device.

sorry for misled U. external or internal, U coud be find the antenna jack which is connected to the radio set. then unplug it and plug it into the new device, then the plug the device's antena jack into the radio set. that all.

Hi, this can be done by a simple unit, that can be buy from any electronics shop for around 400/=. it is a small 2"x1"x4" device run with 12V power supply. The antena cable should be directly connected to the this device, & the device have alternate antena cable should be plug to the radio. using this device connected to your old radio, U will be able to receive local FM cnannels. but the radio displays the frequency as FM76-FM90, but receive FM87 to FM108

Hi Sumith, Recently My Corolla 4E-FE petrol engine had some repair and used a fuji engine overhaul kit (including gasket k) for 3.5K. there was only the second best option was "fuji", other than going to an original toyota kit which was cost around 12K. After the repair, the car has run more than 1000Km up to date. So far there is nothing any issues occurred.

is recharble battery can handle heavyduty power consuption? If the rechargeble battery has to be replaced after few charging cycles, then it is useless. but your thought has made some other ideas. how about this, use a 6V dry rechargable battery which is normally using in emergency lamps with small 230AC/7.5DC charger to charge the battery? then the battery and the charging unit can be install inside my vaccum cleaner at the battery housing....

I get four large 1.5 Battery operated (DC 6V) vaccum cleaner. Can I use my car 12V battery power supply with some alternator to user it. if it is where can I buy that kind of device and how much woulb be the cost?

Same symptoms have occurred on my EE102 car. (1300cc 4E-FE Engine). But engine oil consumption was too much higher than yours. Problem overcome with replacing rings-set and re-grind valves . Other all accessories came with engine overhaul kit. Has done it two month ago. Cost no more than 25K. I did not not used original Toyota parts except spark plugs but used “made in Japan”

Kumudu, The thing was, I bought it from a used part shop and dont know whether it has all the parts ( washer or some thing ) . any way I have install the sensor without any additional sealent two days ago and it is "So far So Good...!" Thanks

Hi, I have EE 102 corolla wagon. Need to replace the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor (it is look like some brass nut). So I have bought an matching ECT sensor from a used parts shop and going to do the job by myself . It is good to use PVC thread seal to wrap around the thread area of the ECT sensor, prior to installing? Thanks
