Good Tinkering And Paint Garage In Colombo
carbuddy replied to carbuddy's topic in General Automotive
Coolcar Thanks for your reply. Hi Watchman, You are right. But here in this forum its better to have some good search or categorisation and then good administration too to guide non frequent users. Then new users will 1st search easily and post under that topic. This is just an input and i do not know about implementation side of this. But in deed i feel this forum need that type of facility otherwise there will be users/posts like this where users did not get what they expect(like me ) and posts with a content where title does not match with it (like this post). -
Good Tinkering And Paint Garage In Colombo
carbuddy replied to carbuddy's topic in General Automotive
Dude Watchman, What i wanted from Autolanka was some information related to a good garage. Now i have to answer some forum related stuff. As a user of this forum what i expected was to get auto related information. For that i used search option it did not give expected results then i found a post related to "How to search autolanka using Google" then i followed that still i had that in my another browser Tab. Here is it https://www.google.lk/#q=site:autolanka.com+paint+garage Right? And i saw then you are asking to delete this of point to another thread. I think pointing to another thread is ok. Since you may know the forum very well you can point a user to that helpful. And if you like to delete then delete this if that is the way you treat for a user of this forum. My feeling is that without asking forum related technical things from a user its better to give some user friendly search. (I am telling this not because of i do not have any faith on AL forum but the way you think or response about a users requrement from this forum ) Finally if you do not like this and if you can delete this (again if you want) then go ahead and delete this or help me to find relevant information or some other wiling to help me will post for this (some times may not) Anyway thank you for your quick response at least. -

Thank you for the quick reply. Some of threads related this were very old (2007 and numbers did not worked) so open up a new thread (If there is an suitable one i may post on it, sometimes i may miss that and sorry for it ). And this is not a "special" one. I used to go to one of my friends garage which is far away for me. So i started to look for a new one. -
Hi All, I checked the forum for garages in Colombo but information are bit outdated. So thought of asking it again. I am looking for a garage near to Colombo (Baththaramulla, Rajagiriya, IDH, etc) to do some accident repairs. Please share any good place as i do not like/trust reputed places. Thank you.

Thanks NIshan, I got this info from their web site. I want to know about there service. Whether it is good or not. Like the claiming procedure, will it take long time or not. These days we can get 50% off from basic premium. So i am checking whether its good to go.

Milage Sudenly Droped - Toyota Prius
carbuddy replied to LAXMAN917576's question in Mechanical problems
This could be. But if you put a proper 12V battery then it will last for few more years. Here prius 12v battery is not anormal 12v one most of you may know it. If you put normal 12v battery then it may need to change after a year or so. -

I would say bad things are popular but they may have satisfied customers as well. check this . I have check these before servicing my one (Its a 2ng gen). So i looked for other places instead of most popular places. They provided a satisfactory service. -

I do not think this is a battery issue. If you check your vehicle in a good place they may give you a proper solution. -

Humm, I went through whole thread and what i cant understand is why most peoples (Anti-Hybrid) are blaming or insulting to hybrids. What's the point there? I think hybrids are good solution for current and future situations. Also i think the technology is well proven.

Hi Sylvi, I checked most places in HitAd including SunLanka and Pet#o most of there response was they havent done it as i want. What i want is have single din DVD player with multifunction facility which linked to existing Display in prius. Linking to existing Display was the not sure area. I also like to have bluetooth feature to link my phone. But i felt its bit difficult to find it with single din player. I thought of a price between 25k to 35k. Please share your thoughts. Thanks.

carbuddy replied to carbuddy's question in Car Buying Information
Crosswind, Thank you very much for quick revert back. Here X is not a car importer. He personally imported the vehicle for his use but not yet registered and he (X) is selling it to Y . -
Hi All, I want to know if there is a unregistered personally imported vehicle and some other one needs to register it in Sri Lanka, will that registered person in Sri Lanka will be the second owner of the car? If it is so is there a way to be the 1st owner? Thanks.
