Hey guys, what's this? Looks to me like a hybrid car, STi too, though says WRX http://www.autolanka.com/ad.asp?ID=38002 And how much is an E-GC8 and GF-GC8? And what's the price difference for an old 96-00 WRX and a STi?
-
Ok, so this means it dissipates 4.2kW for 0.35s and 2.64kW until 2s passes, so for 1.65s. You would need a new battery only for this right? So any news on development of that battery? Thanks for the info btw

And I think Roush: And Ariforce X1 are also good And this looks meaner than the new Cobra on our roads. That looks to be a glass roof, or am I wrong?
-
Yup, not many people go for the Brembo brakes, higher axle ratio or the 19 inch wheels due to cost, I guess. And that's all available when we need it. XAVIOR: Yea I know you were referring to the Saleen Mustang, but was just saying that their own S7 is much better, though of course in a whole different league In case I caused some confusion, it's this that is kinda better than the Shelby as some say :
-
Well we get a brand new car with options we like? True, they seem to lose about $10k in one year, another $5 the next. Found 2008 Mustang V8s for $12k up. Saleen S7 is the best of them though

Yup, it's quite a hard ride, but it's made for economical people after all, not the comfort seeking ones So all they care about is not how soft it is to go in or how fast it is, but how slowly the fuel gauge drops... I would say the same about the Lancer old model (not the EX). And all the economy cars that came out recently.

My personally configured Mustang - sometime back Can't figure out why they keep deleting my stripe though But I like those two extra lights, which is missing from the high end models, as I saw.
-
Nah, just wondering what'd happen if we try that I too was wondering why the red stripes, cuz check it out on the site, blue looks much better on silver Or black...
-
Hehe Ok then, that's kinda good getting your own vehicle than paying a lot more for everyone along the way in our market. Did you check UK too by any chance? Cuz I see that vehicles in Japan are pretty expensive comparatively... Wish you good luck! And yes, please do share the information with us and a few pics too.

Me, I haven't found an EJ20 yet to swap, let me know how much it costs please? No point doing anything with a SOHC EJ16, right? Or should I try going for the D15B Civic which I have ready access to? Think AWD is hard to overkill, as I may just blow out the tires in the Civic... Oh and a very crazy idea, is it at all practical to turbo the two banks in H4 separately and give a common intake? This guy from Garrett if I'm not mistaken had said it's asking a lot from one big turbo than 2 small ones. Comments? As for Killer-B, hmm, no idea cuz he's not replied yet.

It's running without ANY plates?? o.O
-
Maybe when new or sparsely used but after fatigue of more than 10 years?
-
Hmm, maybe then. But I'm sure I saw something like a 600 Maybe mistaken cuz they're always fast, the cars of the President I mean, the 3 he takes around when coming to the Kandy house, with the same number plate on all. Wow! Thanks a lot, that looks awesome and mean!

After a battering of more than 150k km usually, don't think so...

Well as far as I can get it, they make a lot of money from the imports while the taxes aren't multiples of that of the cost of the item. In that case, as we still do import stuff even with high stuff, the SL gov should be one of the richest atleast with the currency of the country, but well, I don't see any development using that money for the people of the country, but do see them going in lots of new cars. Those Benz S600s look awesome though. Not anytime soon I'm afraid, and whatever they actually design seem to have a great tendency to topple over. Besides, the current job must be giving more money for the bro of the King.

Well there was guy I knew that made his normal 1.3L Starlet into a turbo, but spent a lot on it and the resale value became less. If that's not a problem, afaik yes you can fix a turbo to your engine. Exhaust, you'd need a manifold for the turbo and a downpipe to fit it too. Engine, you may have to do something about any worn parts. And obviously a retune. Fuel consumption would generally be worse, you got more back pressure too. Care to add your questions here too? It's an FAQ after all, could do with more info. I didn't have time to write anymore.
-
Well then you do get a bill nah? To prove that you got it at that price? And some trusted third party certifies the value to be true. But wouldn't happen I guess, as that'd decrease gov revenues and make them not have enough money to play hell and have 'fun', and lead their luxurious lives...
-
Hey thanks! Should check it out
-
Thanks a lot! Called his mobile, on roaming so no calls.

Well I did check on some dealers, and yes it is cheaper than auctions from Japan. But I think shipping is a bit more. FD2 was given Yen 70000 from St*ff*d, so I guess something like GBP750 from UK? Cars are GB4k-8k which are good too. There was a Boxter and a Z4 for GBP7k, though it'd get HUGE tax here I guess Wish I stayed there Yea, but only upto 1.6L and not many good cars have that there, other than RX7 or 8, but even they're registered as 2.6L at the DVLA, so not sure how they'd be considered here. The people who are buying? They can hide some info to intl buyers after all, as we're not going there and checking? Converting part is what I'm unsure about. The GT500 discussed here may get even a custom made RHD parts or whatever, but I can't. And US cars are slightly different from JDM stuff, so not sure if the exact RHD front is there. Ok Yup, but it's obviously not a total tax of ~160% of the brand new car value x what gov gives as depreciation? Why can't they just tax the price we buy for?? Whatever duty in US, an Impreza is still ~$20k (2.3M), Civic Si too, 3 series $35k (4M)? That's much cheaper.
-
Hmm, yea it's easier from elsewhere but it's like the cheapest new vehicles are found in the US as it seems to me, and Japan being very high, and UK in the middle. Those are what I check on anyway, I don't have much contacts or relatives in other places. If the chassis is different, how do people here quote FOB prices btw? Hehe Ok, well I thought it was kinda ok, cuz some friends have it and says it's cheap, so seems it's just 'cheap'... Btw, Andrew got a SRT-4 right? Isn't that based on the Neon, like Challenger, Viper etc.?

The Best Anti Virus Software In Town!!
BLu3HaZe replied to AMG's topic in PC and other Console Games
I used Norton and Kaspersky for a while but they slowed the computer like hell, so switched to AVG. And it didn't let anything infect my PC since I put it after mahasona came. Yup, many say Avast is good. -
Zakie is in SL now? Heard he was abroad.. Btw, any idea how much for a Civic?
-
Good to know that Means no problem if the quality is ok right? I wonder if people can hide salvage titles though. Btw, any idea about the tax rates in SL if/when we get a USDM car or a US made car, like Dodge Neon, Caliber or whatever, or an Acura TSX or Civic Si as I mentioned. Guess the FOB can be taken as the purchase price on a brand new vehicle, but FOB price for used stuff from where? And main problem is converting LHD to RHD, who does that here reliably? And average cost?
