I have to replace all 4 tires in my car. I wonder what would be the good brand for my requirement. I am driving very short distances on weekends only. I rarely travel long distances. My tire size is 175/70R14 and I got prices for following brands. Bridgestone 8000 GT 6900 Maxxis 7500 I heard that tires become hard and quality is reduced with the time. Considering the fact that I am not using the car regularly what would be the good choice? Higher the price means longer life or any other reasons? I prefer to go for Bridgestone if it provides extra riding comfort than GT. What do you think about Maxxis?

I agree with you. You may able to have a new one manufactured from fiber from a car modifying place. I don't think that would be a very hard task since today they are manufacturing things like teak panels.

Why don't you install your 2 din car audio on the bottom (below ac controllers) ?

I have used a PULSAR FN15 CJ11 1500cc Auto one. The figures I got is same as yours. Now I am using a FB15 1500cc Auto one and feel it is doing same as the Pulsar. FYI. Engines are different. FB15 has QG15DE Engine and the FN15 has GA15DE engine.

Almost all the Super Saloons and Ex Saloons comes with a Remote Key. If the car which you inspect doesn't have a one, surely previous owners has lost it.

For electronic units following are basic tests from indicator lights. Air bag When you put ignition key to ON position, air bag warning light illuminates for about 7 seconds and then turns off. It indicates the unit is operational. Following indicates a fault in the unit The light remain on after proximately 7 seconds Light flashes very quickly Light doesn't come on at all Light turns on when driving ABS When you put ignition key to ON position, ABS warning light illuminates for about 1 seconds and then turns off. It indicates the unit is operational. If the light doesn't come on at all or if it flashes during driving means a fault. Automatic Transmission When you put ignition key to ON position, OD-OFF warning light should illuminates for about 2 seconds and then turns off. If the light doesn't come on at all or if it flashes during driving means a fault. Please note that we can't guarantee that the units are 100% operational by those lights. But if the above tests fails, it indicates a fault in units.

Are those koito bulbs made in Japan? The one I saw at the shop is made in Japan.

Yes this was there. When I bought the car everything was messed up.Actually I didn't check the headlamp when inspecting. When I put the high beam, one light gave high beam and the other gave low. I knew it was a wiring problem and found that previous owner or his makabus has cut the wire harness of both lights and connected again. I don't know why he did that. Then I corrected that. My holders are placed correctly. Now I am going to change the bulbs since it looks like what I have is not the original bulbs. Any idea on the cost of a original japan bulb for FB15 (H4b bulb)?

Bulb holder means? Can you please explain me how it affects the beam.

Yes.

High beam is not focusing well. I adjusted the beam from a workshop. AFAIK only low beam can be adjusted since there is no seperate screws to adjust high beam and low beam individualy. Bulb used in the headlamp is H4B bulb which has both filaments placed very close each other. I wonder how can those filaments make a significant diference in high and low beam. That's why I asked whether is it a common issue on FB15.

In my FB15 I cannot see much diference in High beam and the low beam. And I have seen one of my friends FB15 has the same problem. Is this a common issue in FB15? If so what should I do for fix it? I focussed the lights recently. But problem is still there.

LX model has limited options. I think even power window is not available on LX model. So consider that fact also.
