Hi machan, you can but an accent 2001 for this amount. i have used this car for about 3 years ago. please see my comment on 4 points u have raised. - there are enough spare parts dealers (Asian international near gamini hall, Ajantha motars (Kandy n COlombo, Maruchi at WIjerama). Spare parts are really cheaper compare to jap: - Buy a manual car and do a good tune up (macro technologies is the best). it wil go up to 15km per liter - Nothing to worry. I sold my car keeping 1.4 laks - Steady car, but not hardy like japanese cars Actually its bette than presea.

Hi Experts, Im using a mazda familia BJ5P (auto). Recently i changed the timing belt. since then there is a noice when i set the gire to R (Reverse). Its like metal hit another metal. When i set the gire to D (drive) sound goes down. when i accelarate there is no sound. Any ideas???

Thanks for your comment. I check this problem in few places and they said this might be a problem in compressor face and it might have been damaged. There is a bit noise and a relative movement. If i have to replace the compressor, how can i determine the correct type??

Thanks Mate, there is a wobble in in AC belt pulley. SO do we need to replace the compressor??

Back to the original question, what are the steps I have to take in order to increase the fuel efficiency?

I recently bought a Suzuki Swift 2008 model (Auto gear, used unregistered). Fuel consumption is around 6.8 in colombo and outstation is around 10. I heard that it does around 10 in colombo and 14 outstation. Can anyone please guide me what should I do to rectify this problem? Thanks
