  1. No No, Engine RPM stays about 750/850. It is the vibration that changing.
  2. changing the idle is not an option since its set by ecu with IAC valve. Okay I will stop using that word.
  3. It is hyundai Elantra 1.6 year 2000. Actually I had to change the engine mount (near gear box) I think it went bad due to this jerk or vibration.
  4. Actually I checked that. When AC is on engine vibrates more and when AC is off engine vibration is less. any way the jerk is still there when AC is off but it is in the manageable/comfortable level. I have a data scanner(cheap one from ebay) and I can check sensor data and ECM calculations. But everything seems normal.(at least for me). one more thing. When car is idling I have AC compressor clutch engaging disengaging at about 20s intervals. I think this is normal since AC controller trying to keep the set temperature inside.
  5. no. It was there before this bad fuel thing came.
  6. mine is a manual one. And yes engine shakes little bit when idling. Idle cannot set manually, it has a IAC.
  7. Changed. But no improvement.
  8. Hello experts, My car is having a symptom of shaking/jerking when taking off from a stop. Sometimes it feels that car might be stalling. Any ideas or experience in this kind of problems? Apart from jerking thing car runs nicely. No misfires. I have changed my spark plugs and injectors have been cleaned. Air filter is also changed. Can a clogged fuel filter cause this type of problem? Please share your experiences and advices. Thanks. Asanka
  9. I was referring to the parts which are not available in Sri Lanka.

  15. ahh. So if government changes micro will get closed.
  16. quoted me 16K for paint 4 wheels. don't know whether it is reasonable, but I decided to live with same wheels for a while.
  17. I think used huyndai vehicles come from Singapore. Also it is not possible to get a brand new vehicle direct to sri lanka without going through the agents.
  18. I think that is how you should start moving in the automobile field. First you start up assembling. Then you should build some small interior and exterior parts, then some body parts, then frames and chassis, and finally the motor and transmission. I think that is how india went with their automobile manufacturing. (Also korean auto makers) Problem with Micro is they are not willing to go beyond the assembling process. We all know that they have lot of tax benefits (thanks to the government) but still they import all the parts to assemble vehicles.
  19. Micro Trend - 13Kmpl city + outside Hyundai Elantra - 8-9kmpl city,
  20. Micro Trend - 13Kmpl city + outside Hyundai Elantra - 8-9kmpl city,
  21. It should be Trend, not tread my mistake. Also it is not a copy it is the actual chinese car. Micro ppl jush assemble it in here. Actually that is how chinese industries work. they made their product and allow anyone to label it their names. From what I have heard even the micro logo in the trend is coming from china with the parts. There are many examples for such chinese products - such as the washing machines Singer and Damro selling is a same chinese machine with two brand names.
  22. No. Tread is a chinese car. Hafei Lobo.
  23. agree with you. Accent is in the bottom. But in Sri Lanka accent can be sold to a higher price than elantra. .
