  1. This looks sporty and the billet grille would look stately
  2. This looks good
  3. Bro,I know its at S.Thomas' College Mt Lavinia. What I am asking is whether it's at the small club grounds or big club grounds. And the exact place (eg- near the basket ball court if its @ big club grounds)
  4. Where are you going to have it? (I mean the exact location)
  5. Thanks for the info bro.
  6. It does between 6-8 kmpl in the city. If you are looking for fuel economy better to stay away from this car . Tech motors have Honda spares
  7. As said by Elvis_Pil many parts are compatible with the standard accord yet parts like the headlamps and tail lamps will need a bit of hunting. And the H22A engine is a performance oriented engine and not one built for economy. So you cant use cheap lubricants. So maintenance cost will be a little bit high and its worth spending a little bit more since this is a sports sedan. The automatics came with a SOHC F18 engine and the Manual ones came with a H22A engine. H22A produces a lot more power than the F18 engine Market value depends on factors like the engine, condition of the vehicle and year of manufacture. It will be priced between 1.9m-2.6m
  8. Try auto accessory shops on darley rd,delkanda and I remember seeing some at C.S auto accessories which is in borella. Price would be between 2500- 5000 rupees i guess. I would prefer LED parking lamps over Strobe lights cause I find the flashing annoying and also distracting to the driver in front just my two cents
  9. The swift Sports has better handling and power than the Vitz RS. Due to the stiff suspension setup and low profile tires on the swift you'll have to compromise ride comfort a bit.
  10. If you use a VTEC EK3 with stock exhaust it wont make much of a noise. The low quality exhausts available in the market makes the car sound bad. Also if a good exhaust like HKS or 5zigen is used it wont sound bad
  11. If you are buying a FD1 go for a 1.8l version as the 1.6l is underpowered and both give similar fuel figures. The 1.8 has better acceleration. If you are buying a Lancer Ex go for the one with projector lamps or else the GT 2.0 version (It looks stunning). Also how about the new City with I-VTEC. Its powerful and economical and also comes with Paddle shift
  12. If the oil changes are done on time and CVT oil is used there wont be any issues. If the box has issues the car will take a long time to change the gears and also the shift will be rough (can feel the change of the gear. Normally in MMT box u don't feel the gear change)
  13. Is it a Lancer GT?
  14. Thanks for the info bro. Gonna try it
  15. Yes you can. You can either fix one in the boot or under the seat.
  16. Bro that price for a B/N sub is highly unlikely because even a JBL GTO 6x9 pair is priced between 10-12k. And a Sub requires an enclosure too.Machang whats the size of your Sub?

    Oil Sludge

A tune up includes Throttle body cleaning and Injector cleaning isn't it?
  18. Machang are those used ones? And an Active sub means a subwoofer having a built in amplifier (Like the ones which are used under the seat)
  19. nope bro. Less the Kelvin value more the output (Lumens)
  20. Subaru Impreza STI 3 ,4 Mitsubishi Evolution 3 Honda Accord Euro R (might be slightly more than your budget) They are high fuel consumption
  21. Try Pet#o, Macvud car styling. Also if you go for these make sure u go for HIDs for the low beam ,because if halogens are used in the projectors the light throw isn't good
  22. You should get between 12-14 kmpl in city driving. You should change the Air filter every 10 000 kms (depends on the condition and better if you do it once a year even if it has covered less than 10 000 kms). Clean the injectors, throttle body and run a diagnostic test to find any error codes. And reset the Ecu after doing all this and the fuel economy should improve .
  23. How about Honda Grand Civic EF2. Ample Spares are available @ Panchikawatte. Its also economical and got good handling and power. If you go for an astina u'll have problems sourcing body parts I guess. Make sure you check for corrosion when u checkout cars as they will be quite old.

    Car

The alloys used are Indian. The spoiler, side mirrors,Fog lamps are also Indian i guess. The security system and the reverse sensors are Steel mate.
  25. If you want DVD/Tv you'll have to go for a flip up player.Try JVC,Clarion and Pioneer. If you go for Caska I would advice you to buy a good 4 channel amplifier as well because the Treble sounds muddy and the bass gets distorted in these players (Not all Caska players)
