just wonder how did hibrid owners faced the petrol problem?

it was rs. 200K for me. but they have changed it to 250K now. they told me many of parts are from toyota. made by Denso. also you may not be able to buy parts from panchikawattha just asking but you may able to buy just carry and show it. also there are many early threads on viva elite that may very useful. make a search...

I think 1.6M is too much for a FB 14 even an English number. Check with AL classified. You can get an idea. Do you mind if i ask you why did you sell the A Star and looking for a used one. I only want to know any problem or something with A Star. Because i've heard its a good car (i don't have any experience with it).

i think it's more useful if there is Sold or Inactive like information mentioned. because there is no way to know weather vehicle is sold or not until we call the owner.

I think it has mentioned on the Test Certificate. Standard values and your vehicles results. I've seen even petrol wastage for my bike in rupees on it.

did you try katugastota - kurunegala rd. its lot better and wider now. also less traffic considering other routes. only problem few huge downhills and bends after hedeniya. after all of that that crazy till kurunegala (havent seen cops too).... also digana - theldeniya less traffic. but the road is not much wider. ans katugastota - matale (from alawatugoda - matale is not much good before 5yrs. dont know current status)

before tax change the Viva Elite and Panda both were in same price range. But Viva Elite got few extra features. Therefore Elite would be best choice. Pandas better quality over Elite is ABS+EBD in standard model and safety rating. Elite ground clearance 14.5cm with body kit. Panda 12cm and 9cm when loaded. But Panda (1.2L, 84HP) more powerful than Elte(1L, around 60HP if i remember correct). Therefore Elite is more fuel efficient (around 12km/l) than Panda (8km/l). Also Panda parts are still rare and customer service not good (red on a blog or a forum about Panda Sri Lanka. you will get more info if you google about it). Elite most parts are made by Denso Company and Toyota parts as per Unimo. Panda looks better than Elite. Panda more cheaper than Elite. Final decision is yours... Both looks grate with chrome body parts. White reflects the light and Black absorbs the light. Therefore inner temperature may less in White than Black when you not using AC (eg: when parking). Scratches, dents are more visible in Black. Also dust and mud marks less visible in White....

Well i dont have any driving experience with Viva Elite yet... But its better than K10 surely. Main problem for me is lower ground clearance (14.5cm) no USB player. But i think both are can be ignored. Hey amila why didn't you add Viva Elite to your list. Its better than K10. And in city it does around 12km/l. Panda only do around 8km/l. But its 1.2L and the most powerful of the above. on youtube you can watch great videos of Panda.. Just amazing. but lack of spares in SL. My choices are; 1. Viva Elite (good features. value for money.) only added for your info. 2. Panda (powerful. lowest price) 3. A Star (Most expensive of the list. but seems to have lots around) 4. K10

I dont have any experience with SLT land line connections resently. I've complained few times to Mobitel. But useless. Only thing they (technical dept.) done is analyze the my connection and said that there is a problem in our area, due to simultaneous connections at the same time, and they will make a complaint to increase the band width (or something i cant remember). And that's all.

I am facing very bad time with Mobitel. Earlier it was good (normal package 1GB per month for Rs. 240.00). But currently it is very bad in Kelaniya area. I think its due to their new 4G stuff...

Just curious. If my vehicle licence is expired but the insurance is still not expired (still one more month to expiration.), can i renew the licence with the same insurance (only to obtain the licence) without having new one for next year. or is it must to get a new insurance to get the licence for the next year...?
