I'm a little late to reply to this but as i logged in only today, i thought of leaving a comment here... I assume that the thread starter ws thinking somewhat similar to this; As i have to pay for the ticket for travelling in expressway the breakdown service should be free and they should be equipped with all the spare parts and tools to fix from a flat tire to a totally wrecked car on the spot... Thats like giving wheels to CRC(collision repair centre). LOL As for me i have even paid for a memebership of some kind of on the spot repair garage operating from Homagama and yet when my toyota double cab broke down infront of M.C. they came 2 hours later only to find out that they do not have the tiny rubber bush needed to repair the Gear pump cables. Comparing to that I must say expressway is far better and one hour delay can be disregarded totally because while they were going back to bring your wheel brush an actual need for a vehicle could also might have happened.! Just food for thought.

I don't get what u mean by permit..... a 2009 cannot be imported for a permit.... specially a rav 4.... unless u r talking about a permit to cut down a jack tree... perhaps :-)

This is just a thought of mine..... but isn't it better that atleast u two or three guys here get together and lodge a complain at consumer affairs or police... beleive me ppl u all can get a relief from law... :)

So by not knowing the fact how put the car in to the reverse gear. one can assume that this moron had never searched internet before buying the prius rte?(if he had done, would he buy it then??? silly me.. he he) so all hes blabbering is what he had heard from the car seller or some stupid friends... and the next day he thought of getting the car out, he hit his own child... Im pretty sure this could have been the case the gear lever of the pius been situated in the dash board this epic fool couldn't put the revere gear correctly... anyway, it could have happened with anyother vehicle too as for his stupidity is way beyond reasoning... also the final idioticness of selling the car for his stupidty(like changing the pillow forheadache) theres nothing to ay about the story anyways thnks for the original poster... got to know that even these kinds exist... :(

Its quiet good comparing to hilux cabs and terrios and rav 4's(for what i have driven) but its faar tooo poor with regarding to toyota prado machan.. the turbo lag is noteceable as i hve tried to accelerate many times, but reached 120km/h without much effort and in a good short time...(also the manual says something about a 'kick' by leveling the accelarator to metal at once but yet to try that out.) luxury is there and i think as i felt its a bit more wide than a toyota prado. handling is good in top speeds, and the brae is exactly the same in prados, very good. only thing is the wiper switch and head light switch have exchanged the sides so everytime i try to make a turn first i switch on the viper, then the signal :action-smiley-060: :action-smiley-060: stereo player is good enough for me. riverse sensor is a bit loud and start screaming if come near any obstacle.. all in ll goos vehicle but yet to see the durability and reliability... will update if interest time to time... or I'll just pm u machan....

Definitely machan, and rite now whole day i was reading the huge user manual of it and swallowing the info bit by bit.. yesterday drove it abut 20km just to see how it goes... ;)

Drove a navara before going into suv's its ok but a lil bit bumpy and its ground clearance is too low for a pickup... and as for my budget i'll be getting the smart version which has that looong truck bed which has no use or value for and it hangs out in back wherever i go. :D tanks for the reply mate!

yepp checked on the new hilux and they are going for 4.9 minimum... but as i used a pickup earlier thought of going on for a suv this time... and got one... tansk for the info mate!
