Dear Experts, Recently observed high engine noise inside a car and found out that the rubber boot that goes around the steering shaft firewall seal has been damaged due to a mice attack. now there is visible opening through the boot. Please tell me is there a place where i can easily find this rubber boot and will it be a quick job replacing this. -
Add few more 100k's and go for a Honda EG8....worth it!!

the one with fancy wooden shifter is also a four speed gearbox..there is no position called D-3. there a two positions called D and 3 there. you can shift the lever vertically between D and 3. D for drive which is fourth gear. 3 is third gear. then you can shift down to 2.

guys is there a place you know which can remake a smart key..because currently the vehicle only has one original key left. if that key lost, it will be a big issue to start the vehicle. The key emits code signals which are recognized by the car and appropriately responded and can only started. so it cannot start from any other key(cutted key). need help!!!

thanks for ur ideas guys...it seems like u should not bother about vigo since it is really good vehical and good in reliability as same as the japanese hilux, its just a matter of the place where it made.. @knightowl - u mean the 2008 model?

having a steering problem recently on a toyota townace kr42..when only the steering fully turned to left or right and when holding it fully turned a skipping noise comming from a belt, like from a loosen timing belt. if anyone having an idea about the cause of this..plz let me know..just want to know before showing to a mechanic..thanks!!

I just bought a toyota hilux vigo(thailand) 3.0L 4WD, 4 door double cab. some say vigo is not much better in quality as the Japanese hilux. but the vigo seems so good since it is a G grade and got many luxury options which i could not find on a japaneese hilux here in SL for thr price range(like intercooler, auto triptronic transmission, etc.). so is there any diffrence in quality and reliability between Japanese and thai hiluxes?
