  1. For some reason I like the old school wheel styling
  2. If im not wrong, India has very strict policy on importing vehicles, hence only the wealthy lot use imported vehicles.
  3. Toyota had been hinting this design for couple of months now, I flipped out every time it came up on my Facebook newsfeed On the bright side, Toyota Japan will be continuing the old design
  4. The 80s and the 90s ❤️
  5. If I remember right that was the price to do a dual A/C conversion for a 200 series Hiace, it will be cheaper for older models
  6. Used shocks generally are sold with the coil spring as well but it requires bit of hunting to find a good set. Instead its easier to buy a brand new set of shocks BTW Monroe does make shocks for JDM vehicles
  7. Isnt this more of a face lift? I like JF1 in G SS Two Tone spec
  8. Is it a 50 series Hiace? L engines were never meant to be powerful( except the 2L-T), they were designed for reliability so it wont be fast with or without dual AC, especially if its an auto. I dont think the radiator needs to be changed but the compressor will have to changed, you will need to fix the compressor found on the dual AC variant of the specific van. For a 200 series Hiace dual A/C conversion costs around 250k. I once rented a 200 series Hiace to which dual A/C was fixed in SL, it wasnt up to the standard of an original dual A/C but it was adequate.
  9. Doesn’t seem to be a TL import. i don’t how successful it would be in Australia either. According to the reviews the 1GD engine in it is similar to what’s found on the Hilux, the 1GD has issues with dust being pulled into the engine and it also has some DPF issues. Both of these issues were found on the Hilux. Another thing is, this model is bigger on the outside but it’s almost the same size inside, which means it would be difficult for trade men to park these in the CBD areas.
  10. Irage is correct, though the 200 series Hiace was selling like hot cakes in Aussie, it was lagging behind its competitors in safety segment. Btw looks like someone has brought one down to SL
  11. This went on sale last week in Australia. It looks rubbish! Based on the comments on social media, quite a lot of people don’t seem to be liking it.

    Good Tyre Brand....!

Tyres are the only thing between your car and the road, going for the cheapest tyres isn’t exactly the smartest idea. Unless you use the car rarely for short journeys only.
  13. There seems to be a misconception that the DCT issue is only present in 2014 Vezel, hence the 2014 models have took the hardest hit in depreciation.
  14. Whats the difference between a C22 Vanette and Largo?

I am guessing you are referring to the Largo and Vanette of the same era ? The C2x series ?

The Vanette was intended for commercial use and the Largo its passenger variant. The Largo of this era shared the platform of the Vanette. Later on the Largo became a mini-Elgrand with a slightly different shared/morphed platform with the Serena (which in some markets was the Serena and then progressively became Serena globally)

So the C2x series Largo was a passenger version of the Vanette? But I have seen ones which are basic than the Vanette VX

It started off that way.....basically imagine it as a wide/large body version on the Vanette....it was intended more for passenger use..but then they also introduced variants that are somewhat suited for dual purpose use.

Cameras aren’t meant to replace the mirrors, cameras are there to give a better view or to bring blind spots into view. For example once I was about to back up and there was a kid behind the van. The kid was only visible through the reverse camera
  16. Also if i'm not wrong the old Granvia wasnt a success in Japan. I wish they bring back the Super Custom
  17. Toyota re-introduces the Granvia, which would be based on the 300 series Hiace but with coil spring all round. It will be offered with a diesel engine, most likely the 1GD. As for options it would electric seats, captain seats, power doors and Toyota Safety Sense kit. Like the 300 series Hiace, Toyota hasnt mentioned anything about selling it in Japan. For the time being it's confirmed for Australia, where it will replace the Tarago
  18. GTA SA got to be the best in the GTA line up, it had a great developing story line where the main character meets various different types of characters during the game play. In addition, the it was the only game with a diversified map with 3 large different cities surrounded rural areas. The main character also has extra capabilities compared to other GTA game, such as hitting the gym, learning new combat moves, eating and having girlfriends.
