Dear all, I'm having a Honda GP1 and this morning I had a flat tire. After removing the tire I noticed the edge of the tire is badly worn and the canvas is visible. Since all the tires are more or less in similar condition I decided to replace all four tires. The original tire size is 175/65 R15. I spoke with two tire dealers and one offered me GT, Maxxis or Roadstone for 11200-11500 each. The other told me this wear is an inherent issue and even if I replace the tires, after some time will get the same problem and advised me to replace the tires with 185/65 R15. He offered me (185/65 R15) Continental for 13000 and Good Year for 12250. Please give me your suggestions as I have no idea what to do?. Thanks.

fuel economy is not that bad. you can get 20+ on long distance. only thing is the car is not so comfortable. I'm using a gp1 for two years and so far no any issues.

No idea about 2004 familia. My 2003 familia 1.5 does between 10 to 13km/l. Spare parts are easily available. Not sure about the market price.

The best would be Honda EK3. If not Mazda 323 or BJ5P. I have a mazda bj5p, 2003 model and I bought it for 1.85mil few years ago. Its really a good car and fulfils all your needs.

My father had a fb13 power package and it had all options of super saloon other than power antenna.

The car seems to be overpriced. Try to find a Honda civic ek3-Vtec or a Mazda familia BJ5P.

End of 2003 swifts also came with centre antenna. so best is to check the yom in the seat belt. I had a 2004 swift with retractable mirrors but without ABS. some of them has ABS but no retractable mirrors. All 2004 swifts are not 4WD. What I can say is its a good, trouble free car, has good ground clearance, powerful engine but uncomfortable car, has poor stability and only good for good roads.

It is the average price for GT champiro and is available in most of the places. I bought recently from sakura tyre centre, hanwella. warakapola tyre service, ruchira peradeniya has similar prices.

GT Champiro 185/65/14 will cost you abt 7500-7750.

Why dont you consider mazda bj5p. I had a suzuki swift two years ago and with my experience it is not comfortable, poor in handling and stability. I sold my swift and bought 2003 mazda bj5p for 1.9mil, which has same fuel economy, really good in comfort and handling.
