Yes .. there's no leak at all from anywhere and I checked by getting it to Arabian motors also. What they also advised was to check and see by changing to oil grade 40. Agree with your coment on changing the odometer mileage. For higher mileage grade 40 is recommended. isn't it. I'm using Toyota Oil. Thanks a lot for your advice.

I have a Toyota Passo year 2007 bought unregistered and now it's mileage is 62,000. From a recent time I'm observing a small drop in oil level when runs for about nearly 1,000 KM, It drops by about 3 or 4 mm. So I fill the amount again. I use Toyota 30 as the engine oil which says can be run for 5,000 KM. I've been told several ideas like oil should be changed to Toyota 40 since it's not the actual mileage that shows and might be much more, some said to check the engine head oil caps/ seals or something. However there is no abnormal smoke from the silencer. When recently checked for Green test it was perfect. Can I have some thoughts/ ideas or suggestions pls since I'm a bit puzzeled now. Is it really because 30 is thinner and gets vaporated and needs to change to 40 or something wrong some where. I dont think it's a oil burn thing since there is no smoke like that and no oil deposits even at the silencer tube. Thankx. Jayantha

I also had a doubt. But when I saw the other posts on one of my reply I thought it may be common. However when I go to a place should check further. As another collegue noted to check at Mario's place at Nawala Narahenpita road should check there. Since the issue boosts when it runs for few KM's may be the expansion due to heating of the disks also could cause a problem with brake pads. I really dont know .. thats how I started thinking lately.

I use a Toyota Passo 2007 model and its with 45000 mileage now. From few weeks I observe that when the car has run for about 30 KM with traffic (When engine is hot well) while the car moves in heavy traffic (Like Maligawatta)when I release the brake pedal there is a vibrating noise comes from engine side (Like Drrrrrrr). But the car doesn't vibrate heavily. This sound is quite uncomfortable. But when accelerator is pressed there is no issue it moves smoothly. In the morning ride since there is less traffic this issue is not there. The issue can be well experienced when going home back in the eve. Any isea about this.. Thankx in advance.. Also seek an expert advice a reliable place where repairs can be done.

I believe the prices that quoted are good as of current market rate. Above 2009.. i.e 2010 are way too high than this. like Vitz is around 3.1 mn and Passo around 2.7 mn. Even year 2007 model passo imported in 2010 are around 2.5 mn with reputed agents like Ishara Indra etc.

I decided to change the TV antenna to FM as Im not seeing the TV. They changed the jack to FM and now the problem is done. Good reception for almost all the channels. TV is of no use as cannot see it

Hai.. I now start thinking of fixing a booster FM antenna. It seems the original arial which is of a rod type does not have a seperate power line to fix to the unit to boost the signals.

Though this topic does not directly attach with Automotive stuff willing to share ideas reg a problem that I have after fixing my setup. Recently i fixed a DVD/TV/BT//RC/RADIO LCD setup and I have noticed that it is not that smart in getting hold to favorite channels like 88.8, 88.5 93.6 and when scanned just pass those and stop somewhere else. But certain channels are good yet changes the reception from area to area within Colombo suburbs. Also when driving the signals are not that pretty clear for the channels that are stored and gets a "SHHHHHH" sound. Do i have to fix a separate antenna for this as im using the standard antenna that came along with the car.

To be very Frank I didn't know the Auto gear moves to neutral without pressing the button. Just a hit would move it to Neutral. The same thing happened to me when I also accidentally hit the gear by my left arm. regards J

Im using a Passo -2007 model with auto trans. I noticed today when my wife was driving she took a hard bend and she had turned too much so had to immediately stop and get the steering returned .. the auto gear had come to neutral position. I slightly remember this had happened to me also some days back but cant figure-out how and when. Since this has steering gear I doubt whether she accidentally hit her hand while trying to steer back with efforts (Usual with ladies) or if not is it a problem. But I drove after that and nothing like that happened after that. Worried a bit whether any issue with the trans. Any idea about this pls..? This car had done 42000 Kms. Thanks Jayantha
