  1. yeah H.C that's what worry's me. My lights are not bad... the reflectors are good, and the glass as well. its crystal and have HID's. high beam is fine. and no issues at all, issue is with the low beam. cant see on my left side if some one is standing 20ft away, i did lift that side beam with no luck.

Hey guys, thank you so much for your input. yeah sadly the EK3 Mi is not a VTEC, its just a D15B DOHC simple way to see if its a VTEC is to see the location of the air cleaner, if its on top of the throtalbody its a NON-VTEC true for EK3's but not sure about others. ok, yet another myth among people on how to check the CVT oil levels. some says (not quoting top gear ) the oil level should be checked while the engine is running. some says, run the engine to running tempreture and stop the engine and after 60sec check the level. whats the correct way to check cvt oil levels on a EK3 or rather fereo muitimatics ?
  3. Hey guys, as always, i need your opinion and advice on multimatic oil change. people says you need to chnage it every 15,000k.m some says its 20,000km (I'm talking about on a EK3 Mi) what do you think, i did try to find a service/user manual for a 99 Mi but no luck.

  5. did it improve the visibility ? i got an EK3 but didn't find any one who has done a projection light conversion. that's why I'm wondering.

  7. oh, that case do take it to some one... dont think its the cluster, but can be a bad solder or bad connection to the ECU. take it to Stafford and get an estimate and see. then you can take it to a small garage and get it fixed.
  8. if you can take the gauge cluster off, its simple. once that is done, pull the cables off the gauge cluster, only clips u need to mark are the ABS & SRS once, both has the same plug but deferent color. the gear indicator is covered with a plastic cover, remove that, u can take the gear indicator board off it, the light are normal bulbs, check if you have bad connections there. there are transistors for each bulb, this is to help to dim the lights in the night. I'm sure its a bad solder joint. unless the light blinks are a driven frequency. else check, the cables that comes to the gauge cluster, maybe its a bad gear potion switch contact. D and E are switched by the ECU, so some times it can be some thing else as well. i had the same issue and it was a bad solder joint.
  9. sad part is, ek3 has no low fule indicator... witch sucks at time... i had the same kind a issue, so even at E, i cant pump more then 30L to it, any one knows the capacity of the tank ?

Hi, eBay is no good, since one thing, almost 99% of them are for left hand driving, so even on low beam, the other drivers get a the light on there faces. and you will have 0 visibility on your left hand side. so if your buying off ebay make sure its for right hand side driving. yes, on the market its around 30k, with normal bulbs, but you can have HID on them... some times with HID, have seem them at dehivala, for around 30k including bulbs, another thing is, make sure such light has a good visibility, most says after market stuff are crap. but no personal experience on that.

  13. haha, had the same shitty experience with them, i was talking to the top engineer who took my car for a test drive (Civic), i told him, My breaks are not that good, can you check them... he tested them and told me its OK, since this is ABS, ABS is not like the OLD brakes, it drags more before the car stops... as soon as here that, gave up the idea of making them fix it, just replaced my break pads with original once and fixed the issue. if the engineers don't know the deference between old braking system and ABS... can you really trust them ? i think they are just bunch of idiots.
  14. yeah... for some reason the low beam on the EK3 sucks... cant give with high beams on, its a pain for the other drivers. was thinking to upgrade the fog lamps, don't mind paying 30k since i can still the ones i have, they are in good condition. but don't wanna take the risk of installing it and not having good viability, so wanted get some advice from a guy who has them installed.
  15. Hey guys, has any one done a EK3 stock crustal swap for a aftermarket projection head lights ? are there any improvement in visibility ? mine already has 6000K HID, but the visibility is not that great on low beam.
  16. remove the box completely and install a ram air intake, can get one off ebay for less then Rs.4000 with shipping. issue is u need to keep it away from the engine heat and from any water that comes in during rain. having one installed would give u some fuel economy and some HP at high RPM's

  19. i got a 99 EK3, Multimatic. i cant seem to find a low fuel indicator any where. (yeah i took out the gauge cluster as well) maybe some reason ek3's came with no low fuel indicator ?

  21. Hey Guys, does any one has a EK3 or some thing that fits an EK3 instrument cluster glass or even a non-functioning gauge cluster with a good glass for sale ? else a sure place to buy one ? thanks a lot!
