i means when i start the car and walit a few seconds a few water is coing out from tailpipe..t thought its like coolent..(but no colour similer like water)...yes machan new radiator is jdm and single core also...i think its better to buy a t-stat anyway...

My car is eg8 single car with d15b jdm.. I inspect cooling system and feels my radiator like new maybe preivus owner had replzed it..and chked around for leaks and thank god coudnt find any... Perhaps i feel my thermostats life has expired so its not funtions correctly.. Also last year i just flush and replz coolent wth caltex brand .. Wht do you think guys may i go thostat first?? My garge guy told tht t-stat would be nearly 2000.. But teck askd me 4700..ohh do you knw any othr plz to buy cheaper around maradhana..???

yep you right..i have an issue of fuel consumption and searched for an solution..although more research i fairly finds out the temp problem...mentioned above i did several things carb cleanups,spark plugs ,wires ,rotor ,idle valve cleanup..but no use.ahh anyway macn i live in kotte,colombo. normally tmorning temp maybe 25c around...thn backto topic ,i fells my car gets more time to warm up comparing other vehicles.. yesterday i visited to garage to show this error and told him abut this problem..first he ignored thn i start car abut nearly 15 minutes..also its just took 25 minute's to drive to garage..so totally it's half an hour and still its just low on middle point...thn he accept there might a problem... and sometimes water coming out of tail pipe..first i thought it was in good shape(good tuneup)..now i think it was coolant.. he told me to rplaze both thermstat and sensore too.. (mostley maka bas arout here as H.C mentioned)asked teck they offered rs10000 both.. so guys waht you think which part should i afford first????

I chked when temperure needle comes 1/4 up the radiator fan become to rotate.. I think temp sensor gone bad too.. Today i travel 25km since morning but needle still @ little bit below in middle.. Thts means engine getting more time to heat..so is tht mean tht is delivered more fuel and air too...pls help guys..

imorning i chked both upper and lower horses of radiator are warm up at idle ....then wasi it stick open???

normally how long does it takes to warm up car for normal tempeture ( to approch needle in temp gauge to middle) ????or how many kilmeters should i drive....for eg8..??

my eg8 gets abut 5-7 minutes to warm to operation temperature (to idle)..alos even after 20 miutes my tempeture needle @bottom....to get normal temperature( needle as it for middle) gets more then 45miutes.... also when i parked my car and start it after 30 miutes its also try to warming up then idle in 2miutes..this is getting me a headache...and i feel im getting poor milage also.. i did throttle body cleanup and IACV clean also..but no sucess..is it a bad thermostat..????. if it is hw much it willbe??? or any fault...??? plz help..

machan what about ur milage???? and hw much 4L can...and brand....hav u noticed any performance after swich into tht...mine 150,000kms passed...will it be ok to switch???

thank machan very useful..machan i askd from agents and they given mea 2l og honda MTF.. i asked them about weight and viscosity but they didin know and not even displyed on a bottole also..so im little bit confussed...so i came back..the bottle seems like this if im buying an anoter product of MTF wht weight should i go with????? as i said mine does 160,000kms.... will high W doing less fuel as well?? so mate wht d u think???

hello guys, My block is stamped D15B with no number following the letter. How do I identify what she is? my car is 94 honda eg8 ferio single carb.... if anyone ones more details post here..tht will be very useful for all of us... i refer my vehicle book its still same D15b and capacity 1499cc....guys i need more details abut it....fuel systems ,and obd-0 orobd-1 .....any details... i seen my one has o2 sensor with one wire and still it in factory fitted....but i surf net i've seen noramlly single carbs ared15b2 and they havnt got o2 sensor....so im little bit confussed..so honda guys plz help....

im going to replze my MTF for the first time after i bought it....its already done 160,000kms...so what grade and viscostiy u prefer...do i need to replze with honda MTF fluid or any ??? also mine eg8 94 JDM single carb I need to know wht are the part number for Belts also..eg- timing,AC.... i heard mitushuba ..will they ok?? should i replze geniune Honda timing belts or can i use mitushba ones also..plz help guys..... wht abut water pumps??? its very useful if u knows prices of each ones...... im going to use 15w-40 mobil1 for my next service with vic filter...is it ok no...

yep don is right..i used tokico and im very satisfy...yeh before fitting u asked them to pressurized frst..also replze mounting bushes,damepers or even springs..if u can sty and inspect while they fit.. did..i had wait @garage and spend more the 10 hours...now im very freely... they suggest but yu hav to an idea wht for go on..ask and review from specialist also forum like this... thanks to autolanka and geinus aroundthere. !!!
