First check your 12V battery. Prius uses the main battery to charge the 12V battery, if the 12V battery is week it will keep drawing power from the main battery. This reduces fuel economy drastically. Check ur 12V or replace whith a exact same model which has a breather hole. Hope this helps.

Are sure its 4L of CVTF? cos my Fit hybrid has the same engine as Insight not sure about the transmission. When i went to the agent the asses tried to fill 3.5L where as the manual says 3L. After much argument they agreed to fill only 3L n at the time they filled, it showed less but after driving it was at the perfect level. Means 3.5L would have been way above the level. Guess that's a bad idea. Conclusion : Agent workers are Robos with old books in hand. Please check manual before changing oil.

I was referring to cooling of the battery.. not the condition how the battery is operated. Of cause the Honda techs need to study conditions here to improve cooling (if needed) or to cop with high humidity level. That is a different topic all together.. I'm sure they didn't come here to stick a air in take out side the car, did they?

Ok... let me put it this way.. As we all know any car is designed to travel from point A - B in comfort, hence u have all the options in a car including A/C. So the engineers have figured out that people use A/C when the outside temp is high like summer n in winter they don't. So as u can see most of the time, than the out side temp the cabin temp is the optimum operating temperature. this is why the vents of the battery are inside the car than out. It doesn't mean that u can't open shutters and travel but in average if u see most use A/C's when hot. So i guess it's safe to say if your comfy so are the batteries.

Nope.. The vents are inside the car and it takes air from the cabin... so if your comfortable that means the batteries too are comfortable...

Maybe your sales person didn't know how to use the paddle shift.. Its really awesome when u want drive a lil fast.. It does down shift/up shift perfectly.. "According to the sales/tech rep who drove around with us, the way the Hybrid system works will be economical if you drive alot," Wtf that means? When u drive more its economical? "as unlike Toyota's Hybrid it does not switch over but merely assists the gasoline engine by a % ? Strange I thought" Guess u need to update your knowledge on Honda and Toyota Hybrids before u start shopping "the way I drove it and the fact that the place I live in now has plenty of mountains the Hybrid didn't do so well on the economical side." It may not do well when ur going up hill, same as Prius. It can come down only with the hybrid motor assist. That's where u save fuel. unless of course your planing to stay back in the hills.

you would be better off with a Fit hybrid than a Fit. Economical and it looks great...

U need to update your knowledge about Hybrids. Honda hybrids too has a electric motor attached to the compressor, so that when the engine is stoped it can keep the compressor running.. Since its fitted with a smaller motor it does not cool as when the engine is running... when it detects it cant hold the cool no more the engine kicks in... if the temp is OK the engine will not start unless otherwise the main battery is getting discharged... Get your facts right before talking of drawbacks...

If u watch repeatedly from 6.33 - 6.35 u can see that PP saw the buffer on the floor n keeps moving towards Ashan's car to go over it. Cunning PP knew he was loosing n had to do something to win. Thumbs up Ashan!.. PP had a better car n experience than Ashan, still he couldn't shake him off. Its a shame on PP to win this way.

How many of u have seen a car in Sri Lanka which has done over 250000 Kms? Even if there is one would u consider buying it? Sri lankan mind set is that the car should have lower mileage to buy, hence the sellers simply cater their needs. i think the buyers have created this trend than the sellers.

Hi, What is your vehicle? Is the difference clearly visible? Does your car gets pulled to a side? In any case u should never try this grease moneky idea of pulling by tying to a tree.. Cos like others said it causes more damage since all the lower arms are connected with bushes when u pull actually the rubber bushes gets damaged n will keep bouncing back. This will not straiten anything till it damages something else. Also there is no guarantee that the exact part which is bent will get straightened. So the best u can do is replace the whole connecting arms (u might be able to get a full recon set for reasonable price) cos a very small dent can cause big change on the wheel distance. If that fails u will have to replace the bed. That is the part which is bolted to the chassis n holds all the arms of the wheel. cos sometime the part where the arms get fixed could be slightly of. If u can't see a big difference in the wheel arch n if the car is pulling to a side u can get it fixed by adjusting the camber. Try Car care in Wellawatta those guys are pretty good in their work. good luck..

What i meant was the useage of vehicles in SL. Not comparing any brands. Audi A4 n AXIO looks more like apples to oranges. If u compare a AXIO n a 141 u will know what i mean.
