Yes, more agree with Don. 850cc Viva shared a lot of parts with Viva Elite. Below is the price list in 2011 March which shows features. Oh that lovely prices . Now air bags and immobilizer also added to 850cc version.
-
I haven't driven Viva 850cc. But my friend was very happy with 850cc and never complaint about power steering. I previously owned 660cc Jap Alto without power steering and it was ok with me. For shipment time , please check with your sales agent. As far as I know only two shipments of Viva has to come and all vehicles are already reserved. Unimo wish to bring Perodua Axia in early 2015.

Perodua Viva 850cc is not a new car to Sri Lanka. Before introduced Viva Elite to Sri Lanka, number of Viva 850cc units were imported to Sri Lanka. There was a Viva 660cc variant as well. One of my friend recently sold his Viva 850cc after running 52,000km without any issue. His brother is having 660cc variant and it is already 140,000km done. Viva 850cc variant comes with manual transmission only. Don't worry about the pulling power. It is a very good car and once my friend drove 140km/h and show me the meter cluster photo. (I don't approve what he did). It is a very good vehicle compared to similar Indian hatchbacks in that range and you get more safer car with more options.

As far as I know Unimo has been already sold over 14,000 units of Viva Elte+Viva in Sri Lanka. When I order mine in March 2011, it was very difficult to see at least three Viva Elites per day in Colombo. Now Viva/Viva elite is too old. Successor Perodua Axia is already launched in Malaysia and this is the ideal time to launch in Sri Lanka with import tax reduction. Spares won't be a problem I think, as Unimo still supply Kelisa spares too. And couple of other suppliers in the market also supply Viva spares.

This is specially for Lancer CS enthusiasts Trinity & Davy. On my visit to Taiwan last week, noted that Mistubishi Lancer CS model is very famous there. Mostly they use 1.8L version. There were few differences in front and rear appearance and could click some photos. (Sorry for poor photo quality) Rear Appearance Type A Type B Type C Front Appearance This looks like Nissan Sunny N16. Finally that spoiler

Planing To Buy Suzuki Zen
Sampath Gunasekera replied to ruki009's question in Car Buying Information
Welcome to the forum. You are talking about facelift model. This is my experience with Zen. We owned a ZEN diesel variant(ZEN-D) brand new car and it was one of the first two diesel Zens imported to Sri Lanka; 65-544X. YOM-1999). (Zen had a diesel variant which used the Peugeot's TUD5 (PSA TU engine) engine.) ZEN-D always gave good fuel economy around 17km/l, but handling is bit difficult until you are familiar with the vehicle. It is due to lack of power steering in Diesel variant. Diesel Engine also much heavier than petrol engine. I have driven petrol variant as well and petrol variant is much comfortable in handling than diesel variant due to availability of power steering. Few cars are here with Automatic transmission as well. Zen is a spacious car in hatchback range. Interior is much better than Maruti 800 or Tata Indica. We have used Maruti Suzuki, Alto (35,000km), Zen , Wagon R(74,000km) in my family and non of given us even a single engine trouble. But I must say check for corrosions before you buy. This is very common with Mariti Suzuki. Properly maintained Zen car at reasonable price is not a bad idea and if you can little stretch your budget, Perodua Kelisa is also a good option. -

Good collection. Thanks. You have reposted some catalogs originally posted by me to Autolanka. No offence from me. http://en.japanclassic.ru/booklets/98-toyota-corolla-1987-e90.html Hoever a simple request from me. I prefer if you don't mention your site name on my catalogs when you repost. I have released my entire catalogue collection to world through Autolanka. But I never displayed any site name on catalogs, Because in future, any automotive lover can enjoy them in pristine condition. It take few minutes to repost, but originally I spent hours and hours scanning them bringin to final condition. So do repost them, but please try to keep them as original. However you have done a good by job bringing all catalogs in to one place and very easy to refer. Keep it up. Thanks.

Warranty is already expired. We bought this vehicle brand new in 2008. My Korean friend purchased the genuine part from Korea and sent me by courier. Local agent refused to reveal me the part number. I had to search through the net. Then I came to know that same part number goes for Kia Sportage(2010) as well. Kia local agent might have this. But we wanted to get Genuine Hyundai part only to avoid any minor changes if there was. However now I am sure same part use for Kia and Hyundai both. Both logos of Hyundai and Kia are marked on the Hyundai Genuine part.

Thanks machan. Now I understand it. Once I read about the semi-automatic , old VW beetle (original) in Sri Lanka and sometimes may be similar technique. Correct me if I am wrong. This made me clear.
