I think B13 earlier versions came with 4 line bumper and later versions including anniversary model came with 2 line bumpers. Two uncommon interesting points with B13 (Doctor Sunny) are (1) Its catalogue says it had petrol 1000cc version (4 forward) (2) B13 is still being produce in Mexico and named as Nissan Tsuru . Dear Freinds, I am having few pieces of brand new (never used) front and rear bumpers for Nissan Sunny B13 (Doctor Sunny) for sale. The agent A*W also didn’t have bumpers at that time. So we got imported them from Singapore and we imported few pieces more together with our requirment and some of them are still at our stores.) Your method is wrtong. When last digit blinks , also there are about 5 liters in your tank. Correct way to do calculation is as follows. (1) Fill the tank fully near to the openeing of the tank. (2) Make the trip meter "zero" (3) Run about 150km or 200km. (4) Then again fill the tank fully near to the openeing of the tank & note down pumped fuel quantity (x) and note down the trip meter reading (y). (5) Calculation y / x . Then you will get the fuel economy in km/liters. This is the only way to check the fuel economy correctly.

My uncle has a Volvo S40 Turbo diesel (manufacturing year 2000) bought brand new. Within one year there was a failure in engine and agent replaced a new engine at free of cost under warranty (they replaced engines of 8 cars due to same fault). But even with new engine we could run about 40,000km and had to overhaul. (But fuel economy of this engine is very good.) It is very comfortable car with strong body and gives you very good driving pleasure, but gave a lot of troubles. Parts also rare and very expensive. But I heard that petrol one is running well. (Please check) My personal view is better to go with a good Japanese vehicle.

Yes, I asked same question from Unimo. Do you know what they said? Fuel we get here in Sri Lanka is inferior quality and if you pump RON90 petrol , we may get RON 87 like that. May be we had some quality problems of petrol ago, but why this happens only with Viva Elites? I am not satisfied with their answer? Now I use IOC Euro3 (RON 93) but still some times engine knok observed. I need more than 100 liters per month and RON95 is not affordable to me every time. (Milage is 7500km and it is auto transmission) Specially I ovserved engine knock when climb a small hill. Some times observed even running on flat roads. When use with RON 95 petrol , engine knock absent and does superb running. Experts, please gide me what should I do? Should I clean spark plugs or someting?

If these things happened at marine transport you can claim it form Insurance This kind of importation must covered by an Insurance policy. Check your agent’s “Profoma Invoice” which you use to open the L/C and you will see incoterm is CIF COLOMBO . CIF means, Cost (price up to loading port) + Insurance + Freight. So you can claim this from Insurance but be hurry. Also some people import their high valued vehicles in containers due to more safety while shipping. Also at clearing stage these vehicles keep parked separately from other imported vehicles in the yard at the port . This is safer. But freight cost is bit higher. Please check your original shipping documents set you collected from the bank after you paid the L/C . (I think you have a photocopy set with you ) Please check them & Insurance copy will be there.
