  1. whoever who did your alignment took a shortcut and didn't do it right. Your camber is probably off; they probably only set your toe in/out. This could mean ball joints or bushings.
  2. Thanks guys! not in this case. These pics were taken using my 50mm 1.4/f lens so the depth of field is very narrow, hence the blurry effect. I love this lens and wouldn't mind leaving it on most of the time but the only issue is that since it's on a constant 50mm, I have to move WAY back sometimes to get a good fram and I can't get a wide angle shot. But it's super fast and performs pretty well in low light. yeah, but I don't see many people posting threads/pics about their cars so it may/may not work.
  3. awesome pics bro! It's awesome that you're really putting that camera to work!
  4. So I entered my car in the Car of the month poll for July 2009 on a F-Body forum. The winner is featured on the main for the month of July, and will be in next year's calender. I'm so damn psyc'd right now!!! I go by the name That Guy 2-1 on there ... Winner's Feature Thread: http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=116866 Poll: http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115880 The pic I entered...
  5. wow, and I just read about this 16M like last week!!!
  6. Cant you just register it under the truck chassis it was built on? Also, I'd like to see a picture of this mutant!
  7. this is to add to the "other" laws that they create on the spot? Or the laws that they don't even know that exist?
  8. yup, in anything!
  9. exactly! Hybrids are a joke; well somewhat. The whole process of building, maintenance and recycling a hybrid and its battery packs uses more energy than what it saves during its life cycle. It's all the "green" thinking that people are made to believe that blinds them.
  10. what surprises me here is that the insurance company agent doesn't care. Insurance are usually pretty strict about exactly what needs to be repaired and what is done and they hate losing money; unless the agent and the shop has a special "look the other way" kinda deal going on.
  11. Well, finally adding a underhood shot to wrap it up for now. Just cleaned her up a bit and hid the wiring harness and hood release cables. They're usually routed over the strut towers; now they route underneath them; tucked between the tower and the plastic splash shied that covers the inside of the wheel well. here's what it looks like before the mod... (old pic)
  12. no that's my wife... lol, that's Marisa Miller. My wife bought that calender for me; actually, she buys me one every year
  13. lol, good one dude. Over here they need to have a sign before the actual sign saying the speed limit is going to be reduced ahead so people have time to reduce speed 'cos there's no freaking way people can slam on the brakes as soon as they pass a sign with a lower limit.
  14. This is my version of the Radio delete plate for my car. It'll fit just like the radio but also come out flush with the trim panel and not look like a cheap piece of plastic that someone put holes in. Sorry about the "air pressure" gauges, those are the only ones I had at my disposal for now and I just filled the bottom with switches just for the heck of it .. lol damn I'm bored....
  15. thanks guys! About the cat though. Cat hair itself doesn't "cause" asthma; it's the dander that causes a reaction "if" you're allergic to it. Thankfully the baby isn't allergic to the cat. We do try to keep the house clean by vacuuming and getting the cat hair off the furniture/etc.; but that's normal upkeep of the house that we're used to doing (although now, it's more often). What we do need to be careful about is the cat scratching the baby if it gets scared when the baby screams/etc. but for now, the cat stays away (he's still a bit jealous 'cos he's used to getting all the attention) and only comes near the baby occasionally to see what's up. He's very gentle with the baby and sniffs him and gives him couple of licks on his hand every now and then. This cat can take a beating though 'cos I manhandle the shyt out of him when we play (he's like a dog; runs behind his toys and chases me around the house) ... lol ... I know he's gonna "probably" have a lot of patience with the baby once he starts tugging at his tail and ears and etc. 'cos he's pretty good with other kids too.
  16. Cat nap... started his education... 2 weeks old... Chillin...
  17. WOW, thanks!
  18. thanks guys, I think I'm done for a while now as far as the modding goes. Gonna concentrate on the kid for a while ... something in me wants to sell this and get an old BMW/Merc/etc. and drop a LS1/Auto in it and beat up poor unsuspecting souls ... lol

    awesome work dude, nice car/setup.
  20. Put her back together (head gasket leak) and took her out...stopped by the local college receiving dock and took a couple pics. I'm still trying to get the hang of Photoshop; can't seem to make pics look the same color/tone/etc. ... lol Well??? what you'll think? 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. just in case they don't load ... http://picasaweb.google.com/tburah1/MyTransAm#
  21. found a diagram that explains everything...
  22. you mean amplifier. I'm trying not to imagine battery power to the sub. And to elaborate on your post. here's a typical wiring scheme. Battery ---> fuse ---> capacitor "+" (capacitor "-" goes to ground) ---> amp. Ref. signal from head unit ---> amp ref. input Pre-amps from head unit ---> amp inputs Depending on how powerful your amp/sub combo is, you may not need a capacitor. I'm guessing somewhere like 500W and above (don't quote me on this, each system/car has its own quirks), you may want a capacitor so other stuff in your car don't act wired like they are doing now.
  23. This thread is overflowing with info on your setup!!! (sarcastic) a capacitor should fix this I believe.
  24. Ouch dude, hope you feel better soon. Hey, mix some alcohol with those pain meds ... lol
  25. awesome! glad to have helped. So now all that needs to be done is to pop that side of the tank and put a baffle in to let the coolant flow to the other side and back before flowing back into the engine.
