my post was referring to the consumption on the ck4... not ck2

ck does about 7 on fuel in town. 10 out of colombo but that is expected for a 1600. apart from that, i believe the the interior is slightly different in the ck4

you might also check out the ck4. it the 1600 mivec version. more power than the ck2 and the interior is better as well in terms of seats etc.

what's everyones opinion on the verossa. the design i know is not for everyone but i saw an ad today where the owner claims 8 per litre. I've also heard from others that the verossa does well on fuel. for a big car with the beams engine, i have my doubts this could be possible. i've also read that there is a turbo variant of the car too. anyone know if any made it to SL?

nadeera is no longer in the country. if it's normal engine work, auto exclusive on hill street or autoforce in saranankara road are also good

also try autoforce in dehiwela. they did a complete paint job for me in less than 2 weeks. complete strip. highly recommend

no mine's a lancer MR... normal 4 dr lancer seden with 4g92 mivec.

little stuff like suspension parts, hubs etc.

i have a ck4... had it for about 6 months now. no major issues to sort out apart from routine running issues it's a good car. has a decent grunt to it. mines a tiptronic, so not that happy on the power. if the car you are looking at is manual, should be fun to drive. some parts are hard to come by but not impossible to find.

congrats DD and Grand Civic (sanjaya) both did an awesome job... only glitch was the safety car taking a spin off a bridge onto the river bank but otherwise all cars survived.

true it wasn't really related to what this guy was asking.. that ad had quite a few classics and the spyder. was wondering if that was the blue car which had a crash some time back

yes if you are looking for a good paint job.. they are not cheap. i just got my car painted at autoforce. night and day difference to what the car was to what it is after the paint. cost 120k but well worth it.
