  1. doesn't it comes with EPS (if im not mistaken)?
  2. My brother had a ES8 (non CVT) car and even it did around 9kmpl in city and outstation around 12-13. So i guess CVT should do more than that it city limits under average driving (not aggressive). Cz even one of my friend who owned one mentioned that it does around 10-12 in city limits with AC. Is your gearbox performing well? what is the average REV you usually go upto? When did u change the gearbox oil with recommended CVT oil last? and how much have u done since then? whats the current millage (if you don't mind me asking)?
  3. what is the issue with the existing one?
  4. Hi @Nipunamsi, Please check your coolant levels, if it's in correct level i think you don't need to worry. As far as im concerned blue or green light lit only when engine is cold and it should disappear after few mins starting the car (this is the exact behavior of my FITaria as well). Cheers..
  5. because if i create a separate thread, then everyone will ask to do a research. And since i was searching for this car to purchase needed to get an idea about this rather than purchasing it blindly.
  6. So basically this car is not a good choice as a daily.. Thanks @Twin Turbo
  7. best solution is to flush the existing gear oil and refill with recommended one. Otherwise there could be residue which might create issues in the long run. CVT gearbox and its internals are really sensitive. Therefore, you need to maintain it properly to get the highest benefit out of it.
  8. May I know the converted engine type and model? Also what else changed along with it? and a rough cost(if you do remember) ??
  9. If your car is having a CVT gearbox, then yes, u should use the correct CVT oil recommended by the agent. normal ATF gearbox oil is thicker than CVT oil, which may result it premature issues in your CVT gearbox.
  10. I was told by a battery shop owner, this magic eye displays mostly the cell voltage of the closet cell (of the eye located). Therefore, you can't always rely on that. Did you try jump starting ?
  11. It could be due to malfunction Throttle Position Sensor as well. But i would suggest you to do a proper tuneup to see whether this issue will resolve .
  12. To me, your symptoms look more like something to do with your fuel system. Why don't you start with a proper engine tuneup? make sure to check and clean all components like, throttle body, injectors, maf, IACV, and check your spark plugs condition and wires/ignition coil conditions and replace if necessary. Also do you feel like your gifts shift smoothly or you need to rev higher to change the gears?
  13. Hi @Kasun12, Sorry to hear about your issue. To start with, 1. when was the last time you did an engine tuneup? 2. What the current millage of your car? 3. Does it show "check engine light" ?
  14. You don't need to change it to S or L but you may need to put more gas to make it move (that's the same behavior i have on my fitaria as well), but that knocking thing could be due to gear oil or gearbox issue. I'm not quite sure about the intervals of this car, but mine was advised to change 20k intervals, but i usually does it around 15-18k just to be on the safe side.
  15. Hi Sira, Sorry to hear about your situation. As far as i know GP 1/2/3 and 4 come with a CVT gearbox. And to me your symptoms looks like gearbox issue as well. Do you have any idea about CVT oil change intervals ? I would suggest you to start with a CVT oil change. By the way, do you feel this issue during both cold and hot engine temp??
  16. First check whether your bulb is in working order. I'm not quite sure whether you have a separate or joint fuse for this light to be lit, however if yours does, then you should be able to locate it inside your vehicle fusebox (should be located under steering wheel).
  17. Garage reference-> Vipula motors, Nawala - 0722 196 030
  18. Hi andunslg, Im facing some similar issue with my Honda city Manual car, I get a sudden knock whenever i release my gas paddle as well as every time i press gas in low RMPs. Could you please let me know from where did you get it checked and resolved ? and how long did it take/ how much did it cost you? Contact details of mechanic and location is highly appreciated. I've done all tuneups, filter changes, timing checking but nothing resolved this. I've shown this to 2 mechanics , one was suspecting the Distributor and other was saying lets change the knock sensor and see.
  19. If you don't mind me asking what was the budget of these vehicles those days?? Since you mentioned "All Manual Cars, prices are pretty much same. "
  20. Best place to get this checked is with Stafford motors, if not you can go to other third party places like hybrid hub and etc.
  21. Did you try replacing smart key battery?
  22. How is the fuel consumption ?
  23. Honda city gearbox prone to fail prematurely if not maintained properly. If possible try changing the oil first. If this comes with a cvt gearbox its advised to change within 15-18k km intervals.
  24. I newly brought this car, I don't have history. and when the idling there is mis and suddenly nock is coming.and when the accelarating mute the engine. I doubt whether it is distributor, because why only third cylinder not function. How about, test the compressure could it be due to a timing issue?
