  1. When mechanics say it can't be fixed and don't listen to you, you do it yourself. And Success!

after new brake liners were fixed to the rear drum brakes, a squeaking noise came from one wheel for about 2 mins every time i start the car, and its painful, 2 times went to fix it, they didn't do the job properly. so came home and jacked up the car, removed wheels and the rear drum, adjusted brake liners and voila, the noise is gone

  2. The price should depend on the length right? normally starting from 900 upwards.
  3. Yes the site seems good and practical, I usually use soundcloud alot and this initiative can be upgraded in time to come.Wishing you all the best as im already listening to songs from your site as I lost the touch of home-bred music since 8 years ago so. I would like these features to be implemented in the future New menu item named Genres, which will list all the artists of that genre. Playlist for genres from all the artists. Also is there a possibility to add more than 3 or 4 songs on the specific artist's page(mp3 section on the right hand side)? Maximize the youtube video on click as a popup maybe? I see that you have added next artist and previous artist at the bottom of the page of the individual artist page, thats cool, maybe add it to the top of the page also? Search bar looks odd Why so dark the community page? Wordpress has good themes neh Again good initiative and hoping the artist base grows and gets un-earthed from this
  4. Nice initiative, unearth the local talent \m/
  5. yes, i have shared the album with the club, also thanks for the pics. If im not wrong, the Coupe is EA numbered now
  6. The reg number has been changed on this one, still its a beauty <3
  7. sonax wash & wax shampoo is good, currently using. Note that there isnt much shampoo, but well worth the wash as the wax/shine lasts around 3 days in local random conditions
  8. Yokohoma also goes at the same price i guess (last checked 3months ago), how about going for maxxis? about 9500 as i recall
  9. if gear shift is good and still error comes, maybe a simple ecu reset/scan can get rid of the error code.. But Its always good to check from the agents/mechanics who can scan for engine codes
  10. A Triumph Herald convertible is nearby my office at a garage, orange and black colored car, body looks in good shape, must have come for a minor repair. A good running condition one can go above 7 figures i guess
  11. contact member @Supra_Natural
  12. maybe because the hub bearings has rust on them? apply gum grease (not sure what is the exact name, but orange color) or the blue grease and see if the issue is there again? is the hub bearing moving when pressed with hand (9 and 3 o'clock) after tightening it up ?
  13. yeah it should be the saloon model, Brava. Brava and Marea is 4 door, Bravo is 2 door @dushyantha was the other Bravo owner, it was him i stated above There are parts, parts match with Alfa 145 and many other Alfa models, mine has Alfa lower arms, Alfa clutch master pump, exact match . So as you can see, many Euros share the same or likewise parts which can be easily fitted with a small modification. so it shouldn't be a problem finding parts. Clutch plates should match with other models, yeah plenty of parts in UK. Agree with locally done repairs, but make sure its in a good place. Parts are with the mechanics itself, if you have free time, try with Milano, Janatha motors @ panchiwattha, Euro spare parts, also Wheels Auto Spa peliyagoda. Wheels Auto Spa normally have spares with them, although they also do repairs of Euro's. Also give a call and try with ITMC @ Rajagiriya, Next Gear @ Udahamulla
  14. Its the diesel JTD model, the previous owner that car is also in this forum Dont worry about parts, can get down from Germany, Singapore and so on
  15. 98% complete, within this month it will be 100%.

  16. There are only 2 Bravo's here, I own one of it There was a good condition 127 for sale few days back, i thinks its gone now. That 155 is not what it states, its not a Q4. But its rare with the wide body kit
  17. Finally, so happy that someone even had a thought of owning a Italian Yes parts are available, there is a handful amount of running 155's in SL, parts can be sourced from singapore/ebay and some workshops have in stock also. Yes there is a handful amount of places rather than ITMC, nevertheless which workshop you take the car for, 80% of the cost will be that of the parts. Labor costs are same as for other cars. If parts are original and due maintenance is done, it should be reliable, but be aware of the electronic side of issues. Although the spare pars cost is a bit higher, they are reliable once put/installed A good 155 should be no more than 1 million (around 850,000). But again its with the specs. Most can be found with a Japanese engine heart, if you do come across something like that, you can get it for a cheaper cost and install an original engine
  18. And those will be false rumors. But still have plenty of good shops to find parts, time and money is needed You into Japanese market? How about Toyota Carina, Toyota Corolla 110?
  19. you want 3m products and the cost should be within 5000? That's hard luck to find..... btw I can vouch for laugfs and they are good.
  20. you should be freaking kidding me right? I have read this thread from top to bottom, and many expressed there views, and also a heavy dosage of knowledge on 121 and WagonR!!!! Its totally up to you to decide if you want the 121 or WagonR.
  21. try with samarasinghe windscreen maybe?
  22. Euro's for life eh?
  23. hopefully i won't be able to lie in the future
  24. thanks, took a lot of guts to write this
