    As Far As i know, there were no 2 Break Lamps in one housing. one is a Rear Fog Lamp (Most of them were rewire to act as a Brake Lamp by locals). could be a aftermarket tail lamp.

    Wow!, Sampath did you remove the wheel cylinders and check for any rust? and check the washers. when i got the Vitara, recently overhauled the brakes and for my surprise, both rear wheel cylinder washers were leaking, Front left side Piston is corroded but not leaking, since agents didn't carry the parts, i have ordered them online. looks like the previous owner didn't even care to change the brake fluid and hence the consequences. and That Brake fluid can very similar to Seiken Brake fluid, perhaps Seiken is the Supplier for Mitsubishi?

    One of My Friends had to Replace the Bearings of Alternator, Idler pulley (There was a whirring noise came after couple of miles) etc, due to Degreaser. Service Jhonnies forgot to cover them.

    Recently switched to a Grand Vitara and Boy why wouldn't i love the All wheel Drive of this thing. at fraction of cost of Fuel, it gives a far reachability than my previous Car. Yes you have to take care of Differential and Transfer case oil etc, but i must say, it's well worth the extra cost. Even between 2WD Vitara and AWD variant, there's difference with Suspension, Lower Arms etc. 2WD version is little bit lower in Ground Clearance as well.

    Yes Nilwala has done repairs on friends Vitz cvt box. He replaces orings and some rings.

    True on Toyotas as well, All the Agent imported cars came with Rough Road package (aka Stiff suspensions, Higher ground clearances, Steering Rack differences etc.) and better tolerating plastics on dashboard etc (Corolla 141 never had dashboard going bonkers but the Axios). some of the brand new imported cars (Suzuki Wagaon R Premium Hybrid) came with ECUs tuned to local Fuel as well. and i'm sure most of the Euros were Tropicalized as well to suit local conditions.

    Go for The Luxel, it' simple, you know the History of the Car than Unknown Car. as iRage mentioned, this specimen looks fully loaded as well. for 2ZR-FE, those are very solidly built engines (Family owned a Premio with the Same Engine). get it checked with the agents, and change the usual suspension bits, such as lower arm bushes, D Bushes of Sway Bar etc.

      yup that's the thing... I was mildly interested in the same a while back...the 3.5 range will fetch you the older model.(2005ish)

      Yes, but rather going for that, would want to settle with T30 Xtrail. there was a RAV4 2005 Brand new imported, but sadly it was snatched by Sale Mudalali when i'm planning to pay a visit. Budget has made these Cross-overs overpriced.

    Im Still using Tenacity over 2 years and it's still standing strong. i don't see any difference in comfort with OEM ones.

    I Can Vouch for Tenacity Lower Arm Bushes which purchased from GS. those still standing great even after 2 years driven in local pot hole ridden roads. Quality seems better than RBI stuff. if you looking for Japanese Bushes, look for Tezuka or TZK Rubber bushes.

    Sorry to Hear that, But this always comes to my Mind, Resurfacing, is it always good to Replace with New Discs and Drums or Resurfacing only suffice? reason is, find out that there are aftermarket (Brembo etc,) Discs / Drums available in Panchi which is equal to Recon part prices.

    I have lumiled H4s on my 2006 Vios. Compared to Halogens, its much better. But cant compared them with HIDs. You can adjust the angle of the bulb as well. No stray beams and this does not give glare to oncoming drivers. Will post a photo when time permits.

    Nope no Auto Adjustments, this came with Halogens. there was switch with scroll wheel where you can adjust the Height.

    Yep, My Fathers. yes Height Adjustment came as standard.

    First check whether the wiring is present for height adjuster.
