If this car Brand new imported, then Oxigon sensor will not be there

This is the fuel tank gas pressure and when ever the tank get shaked (slow run stop and pickup) , there will be a high pressure gas will be generated in the tank. best thing open the fuel tank cup and you will hear gas discharge sond. it is normal for some cars. even my Honda had same issue when the tank is some where 25% fuel

Amila Yes within 20 min, it may come 10,15,..etc. Running without the thermostat IS A BIG ISSUE especially if you do high speed runs in the cold weather. Thermostat cuts off the water supply through the radiator if the engine is cooling and helps to keep the heat within the engine. When you are running without it in cold weather, the water continuously goes through the radiator and gets cooled as the cold wind is blowing through the radiator as the car is travelling. keep in mind, fans must be switch on in a specific tempature then hot water will gets cold, with no fan, the engine will be boiled.the fans sensor should operate in specific tempature and off because engine need to maintan the tempature. even with out thomostat the water will come to that said tempature and fans will continue for long time so engine tempature will go below the limit with out thermostst but it is not an issue. so if you ask form honda agents also they will say running with out thermostat is not a huge problem that you have.

I suspect that the temp Gauge is faulty, with or without thomastat the water will come to peticuler tempature which is 45 % of the gauge range with in 20 min time. and fans will turn on when the tempaure range some where 55% that is the Honda theory , using high tempature than ohter cars. so you must check the gauge and there will be no big issue if you do not have thomostat and only fans lifetime will be reduced. He is ok with MMT gearbox replace, and he will find and install the gearbox and give you warrenty for one week time. so the cost for the gear box 850K and oil 10K labour - 5K = 100K. looks like MMT gearbox are runnig out of stock

Hi One of my friend got the similar issue. When its around 5000RPM the engine gets heated up.He finally ended up with replacing engine. the issue was incorrect gasket for EK2. Some of maka bas are looking only the size of the gasket and if the water jackets are fine they change. But Honda use high temperature than other cars, the gasket will worn quickly. No smoke, no water mixed up with oil. .but there will be small bubbles coming on when you open the radiator cap. On cold engine First check the gasket, as you mentioned that engine heat came up to read line check that first. See the thermostat – most of the time this will be removed by Maka bas, if it’s not there the fans will run more time because the hot water always passing the fan sensor. That why the thermostat required you are not able to see the gasket till you open the head, but you can test with above way, if its small bubbles, definitely. The gasket is faulty. sira

I got this bike and recently the ECO test was failed. And one of the bike mechanics tuned the carb and checked the all items in carb ,said looks fine. That time the CO level was 6.7 . so today it has failed again the this time the CO level is 7.5 However the eco test people are keep accelerating and i can see most of the times the RPM goes more than 3500 and then test display invalid RPM , may be this units dose not capable with Bikes. there is no such a place in Colombo for Bikes tune up with CO meter. Most of car garage has this unit and before they go for ECO test they can tune the car perfectly. Bike they do not do Can somebody advise me with this Sira

Bro Please give me more details. 1. is this happens when the engine is cold or warm? 2. When you on the AC? I had similer issue with my car, it spee going high every 3 sec time. so the issue is Idel up valve is blocked, so it can be corrected easly, malabe guy is fixed for me. sira

my friend had to replace engine. we have noticed the 3rd piston was not working on idle, and when we unplug the injector cable there was no change. so we open the head the gasket was replaced with carb model and there was play on pistons 1,2 and 4. and when we open the head water on the piston 3 too. so finally checking with all issue, replace the engine with d15b than d15z4. all issues was gone and fuel consumption also very good. so who ever replaced the gasket and face the head was not done correctly. so my advice is for all honda users , do not mess your car giving to MAKA BAS, go for qualified person

Please check the correct timing - it should be 12 _+ 2 also check the exust pipe colour - if its too black with carbon powder, looks fuel consumption is bad.

I mean the gauge incresed when you on the parking light. and it will gives us wrong level of fuel. but it will back to normal when you on the ignation

All EK3 members Has anybody noticed the fuel gauge in EK3 1998 gets increased while the parking lights on? it will increased if you on the parking lights for long time like Not in ignition on and running I have informed to Stafford motors and they agreed with this issue. And they said that is not an issue and it is a slandered, I do not agree with them and few mechanics also told me there is an issue with meter board and cannot be fixed . any idea ? any way to fix this issue sira

Guys, i have found some thing new, Koito got bulb called - white beam -http://www.intakeone.com/Light_bulbs/KoitoWhiteBeam.htm i have checked with semini motors and it cost 1,250 each. any idea of this bulbs? sira
